This console will actually be a retro 50$ console...for the sega fans...the ringedge and ringwide is rumored to be the hardware base for the actual new sega console in 2010-2011 in Japan...also new patents for a controller and a hardrive seem to fit in all this. if the rumors are true..but more and more facts are leading to the conlusion that sega is actually working on something.(maybe a new console)..

If you copy the japanese writing and put it into babel fish, it says they are making a console and that's the purpose and that the price of dual core processors dropped by 30%. It might be a thing that only downloads games... the site wasn't clear and babel fish translated into broken english. But its real, and on the sonic 4 site it's the system with question marks!

Yeah the zone sega is real and coming soon but it does not look like something sega is going to focus on, remeber the sega vision handheld licenced by sega, that only game in the UK and I havent heard nothing from it for along time, but all this dosent cancel out the ringedge/ringwide stuff because the zone sega is a whole other thing. If anything this could be something to test the market befor something else comes out.

"why would release the sega vision in the UK but not in the US since no one in the UK cares about it when theres thousounds of people waiting to buy it in the US.. @Jp4rk they sell these in shops in ireland as i seen one of them for sell. Its not fake or powerful as PS3 or Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii. Its a mock of the Nintendo Wii the controller nearly the same and one last thing its not the Sega dreamCast 2. Its called Zone. i lifted one and check to so want it do. it only plays Old Sega game and it doesnt even got a disk drive and the one i seen was the Zone second model. but There will be no New Sega Games for this platform. it has nintendo games as well.

Good that SEGA is doing something with the hardware market for the first time since Dreamcast,

Interesting thing about this news is that it's actually a licenced Sega product,

the first one since the Dreamcast,

All I know so far is that it has MegaDrive games built in (20 I think), and it can emulate the Wii console, and new stuff gets added over time,

All in All I'd say this is probably Sega's way to test the hardware market

if its successful enough they may make a full next generation one
