@KryptonFilms As long as you have the same graphics card, an i5 vs i7 would'nt be much of a difference, you'll only notice gameplay issues when start going below 4 gigs of ram these days also
@mobiletechreview im buying a new laptop. and do a lot of travelling. and like to play games. which laptop is more better for it. is it the envy 15 better . or alienware 14?
Is there a noticeable difference between the 1980*1080 of the hp screen and the 1600*900 of the samsung chronos I'm mean if I bought the samsung over the hp envy will I regret it because of the screen?
The HP screen is an IPS display, so the color is more accurate and more vivid, and if you look at it from the side the colors aren't washed out. The samsung's screen isn't bad, but if you have the money get the HP. If you watch a lot of movies/videos the hp is much better.
Is the graphics card on this better than the one in the series 7 chronos you've just reviewed, i am buying new laptop soon. i kinda stuck better this 2.
I think she used Mw3 not because its a demanding game but because its a game many more people play so somebody might want to see the performance with that specific game
Yay, a new gaming vid ! I love these. And for those of you stupid enough to not appreciate this, I'm not saying names, *cough* adampatrick1 *cough*, but you should realize that these gaming videos are an integral part of any laptop review, and should be included in each of them. Even if you're not a gamer, most new games require a powerful machine to run smoothly, and that makes this a very good overall performance indicator !
@SuperW360 55 to 57 degrees Centigrade when gaming with the Radeon on. 33 to 40 degrees with Intel HD graphics when doing everyday office and school stuff. Max CPU temp allowed is 100C. These temps are good.
@MobileTechReview wow that is really good! my HP DV6 model from last year will go up to 70-80 degrees... Waaaay to high in my opinion. I now use a decent Cooler Master coolerstand which makes a difference, but still hot. I hope that HP keeps this Envy model on the market for a while, I might buy it this summer of start next year then.
Wow thats crap
