This was posted more or less for those questioning how some training works and to strike an interest in similar operations. If this were a "real time" operation, trust me, it would NOT be on Youtube. What it really is is that SF/SEALs/Recon/AF Combat Control/AF PJ (Which makes up SOCOM) are tier one and Delta is a whole different animal. Seeing as it still doesnt officially exist and all. Theres tier one and theres Delta. Delta are the best in the world, bar none. Now the honest truth, is that there are exceptions on every side. Some SEALs are better than SF, some SF are better than SEALs, and you can even throw Delta in that mix too, everything is on a person by person basis.

Have you heard of Naval Special Warfare Developement Group? (Also known as SEAL Team 6). By that I've heard is that you have to be atleast 8-10 years as an active SEAL operator before you even MIGHT get an invitation to DEVGRU.

DEVGRU is SEAL's Delta, they pull only the BEST of EXPERIENCED SEALs to their unit. Delta pulls theirs from Rangers and SF.

Nobody really knows much of DEVGRU.

Captain Richard Marcinko (founder of DEVGRU) actually wrote a book on it approximately 12 years ago. Obviously everything in the book is declassed but it gives some neat info on it. There is also a book written by Dennis Chalker, another founding member of DEVGRU. Eric L. Haney also wrote one about the beginning of Delta Force...All very good books and I reccommend reading all ASAP. Hope the books help. :)
