I've shot braided metal cable probably the same as or very similar to what's used for powerlines with my .22 rifle and CCI Mini Mags at 50 yards, even after 5 or 6 hits it didn't appear to have any damage done. This is a pretty whompin power slut of an air rifle but doubtful it could do much damage
