  • Nice try bitch....fail. its called a Glute ham raise for a reason. U didn't use any Glute or hams. U used all lower back. This is not a hyper extension

  • This was supposed to be an instructional video instead it gave me a boner !

  • I can't say this video was a complete fail..

  • This is absolutely NOT a glute-ham raise..

  • WTF! Wasted 32 seconds...

  • shes got a nice ass though, ill give her that, she needs to do lighter weights and go all the way down for back extension so you can do Full range of motion, assuming she doesnt have any back problems

  • That's a hyperextension. What is the point of holding a 25 lb plate so close to the axis of rotation? You're better off holding a 2.5 lb plate as far out as you can.

  • We're all just posting angry comments to make it seem like we weren't just looking at her ass. Bad form, bad form, grrr!

  • Hammies are involved but this is a hyper extension, good exercise but not the same.

  • So...where's the glute ham raise then, lol?!

  • This is similar to a seated good morning. And it is a good regression before attempting a full GHR. Also, the hamstrings are still involved (as they are in a seated good morning). I won't give a technical explanation. Just simply watch her hamstrings contract.

  • @brycecoad1...Good point. However, using your logic the video should be titled "Similar to a Seated Good Morning" instead of "Glute Ham Raise". The title is misleading, hence all the negative comments.

  • no knee flexion = no hamstring involvement

  • @fergie232 Nooooo, only the short head of the biceps femoris isn't involved. All other hamstrings muscles are invovled in hip extension.

  • she doesnt know she is being video taped

  • epic failure

  • Your on a GHR use it!!! WTF

  • This should be called "How NOT To Do A Glute Ham Raise". This isn't a back extention, or a glute ham raise; this is nothing.

  • @bluethunder90 Yeah, it's basically a very short range hip extension. If, as another poster mentioned, it is being done as a way of scaling the difficulty for someone not able to do proper GHRs it should be labeled as such.

  • @bluethunder90 its definitely SOMETHING, HAHA I enjoy watching it, but I don't think its doing much more than a little spinal erector work and appealing guys eyes

  • @bluethunder90 NOTHING? Didn't you see that ass. :) Ah.. allright, it's supposed to be an instructional video. Very well then, it needs to be rectified, and the video should be renamed: "Nice ass doing nothing!"
