could someone explain to me what the rhythm of the shot shot buzz part is?

@Bfongbfong first two shots are on e and + of one. the buzz is first note (downbeat) of count 2. next two shots are on + and uh of count 2. the last buzz is on + of 3, with the last shot on uh of 3 and the final three notes are just eighth note triplets. hope that helped

for people who can't get the thumb roll, look up a "thumb around" in pen spinning. it is the same technique and there are hundreds of how to videos. just use ur stick instead of a pen when following their instructions. (and your left hand of course) Because of all of my stick tricks, it was easy for me to pick up pen spinning, which helped my stick tricks more, and it gives me something to do when im not hand drumming on my desk in school. :D

@screamodrummer1234 its the rim that is like that. When you have great zones and you tune the head you tune the playing side more cause it gets stretched more. The rim is just at an angle.

@screamodrummer1234 its when the screws between the drums get loose, and the drums move around. straighten the drums up and tighten the screws between the drums and youll be good to go. it happens to tenors after a while of being moved around and used. not really a big deal

i learned all the snare visuals for 2009. but they added three more, right at the tempo change. a back stick, a cross, and hitting the ass of the stick. can someone tell me exactly where those are. idk if my computer lags and i wanna make sure i get it right. (the funny part is that i'm a quad player, but the snare part with visuals is just too fun. haha)

Yeah most of us at rcc just go to drum but some do attend the college there. As for transferring to a university most of us don't because were just to busy marching.

He's a little far forward, but also keep in mind that was the first day they drummed on those drums. They had no rehearsal before hand on them so its a totally different sound and feel. So that may be why he's playing a tad bit forward.
