Awakening was a good a show. House and The Battle for Solace were the only two bands I really liked there though.

Awakening is not, and never was a Metalfest. we had Post/Hardcore bands, Punk Bands, and even a Reggae/Ska band headlining, as well as some great Metalcore and Metal bands.

And not all metal music is about satan. case in point - As I Lay Dying, or Mortification. so why not play it in a church?

Lets name chrisitan metal bands Norma Jean Underoath The Devil Wears Prada August Burns Red Maylene and the Sons of Disaster Oh, Sleeper Bless The Fall Haste The Day The Chariot Thats to name a few Awakening is ran by christians :S Why would the mock their own church Im a non christian and I play in many christian churches, my band practices at one weekly Aslong as the meaning of music isn't against religion theres no problem
