This video is so weird-- it looks like it was black and white at first, but I notice that red shows up just fine. It's as if the camera was calibrated at filming to only show red hues. Was that on purpose?

I've only ridden this in the dark, but they were on, once, when I was on the people mover ride. It was an interesting perspective to see basically a mash of gray and black supports and track.

@princessfloribel It is going slow here because as stated above all the trains stopped for some reason on the track. Then they had to be manually pushed to get them going again. That cut down on a lot of the speed going into this final half of the ride, which builds in the first half of the ride.

a people mover use to be a ride in D.L.

it closed down in 1994 and then they put up a new ride called the rocket rods(tht lasted like 3 years)

but if u know the track that u see nect to the monorail, and the track that runs straight down tomorrow land that was the people mover/rocket rod track

I was riding it once, it either broke down, or they put the emergency shutoff on, because we went from 55 MPH to 0 in about 10 feet. Ouch.

Did you see that! At the end of the video the ride attendant crossed the cars from one side to the outer!!! That is a big no for any amusement park, you can get fired for it. You can only cross by standing in the seats or if the ride is shut off.

In fact, I never knew there was a Space Mountain in Disneyland until 2009. when i first saw a video of the SM in Disneyland i thought, "THAT is NOT Space Mountain". I learned about the 5 Space Mountains around the world, and I really want to go to the one in California. So far i have only been in Disney world.

@sammixlove225 In Disney World Space Mountain, the tunnel ceilings are low too! You would probably bust out some panels if you put your arms up in one of those tunnels. I only put my arms up when I see enough Space (Mountain!) between my hands and the ceiling.

@Stunttumbleandcheer yes and have you seen it with lights on, with that in mind have you been to the California one, with that in mind I have been to both an I believe that the tokyo one is the best, when I went there I was so embarrased because their lighting and effects is so much more advanced, it crapped all over our DLA and WDW ones.
