@berwyn79 You do not need IV sedation. Believe me. You have options like conscious sedation or even nitrous oxide. Nitrous at my dentist costs a flat rate of $50 if I choose to ask for it. (I do). I swear, getting them extracted is not going to be hard. If you're afraid of the dentist (like me) and hate someone being in your mouth (I do) and have panic attacks (like me), you can still do this...try nitrous. Don't limit yourself to IV or you'll procrastinate. It really will be okay.
i have a simple ??? including u ..nerdgirlism.to all that have had their teeth pulled out and had to have dentures?? how was it dun?? did it hurt.how long did the process take and including making ur dentures..how did it feel like having no teeth to fake teeth.did u get and shot in ur gums or an IV based on ur insurance coverage..im from chicago and soon having them removed and am TERRIFIED but my insurance wont cover everything..i get mine from the state..MEDICAID..plz tell me everything..thnx!
@berwyn79 Nerdgirlism has been my hero throughout my adventures, especially because she is so young and dentures are always viewed by the public, blatantly, as being gross, ugly, laughable, a joke, embarassing...it's easy to feel shamed, especially since people are trite about "JUST get implants" like we're all made of money. How did things go for you? Getting them out isn't a problem. It's the stuff that comes after, don't freak out about "the process."
no i havent dun it yet...it was spose to been done in the summer time and i have been stalling on the extractions..im scared to death and terrified of the pain..my insurance wont cover the knock out part where i can sleep during this surgery and not feel the pain and wake up when its all done and over wth..but sooner or later i have to get them dun...i have to face my fear and grow some balls and finally do it,,,when??? i dunno yet..when i grow some balls..
im from chicago and am facing upper and lower dentures.my teeth are badly damaged and pointless to save them each appt i have had i have been told that i need dentures.im on public assistance (PUBLIC AID) and am scared to death of the pain and pulling of all my teeth.lower and bottom. plz explain to me how will the dentist pull out my teeth and make new dentures for me by just regular anestetics .public asst wont cover the extra to knock me out to where i sleep thru all this..thnx.
@berwyn79 Have you had it done yet? I'm getting all of my teeth removed in 2 weeks and I won't be put to sleep either. Im terrified. Let me know how it worked out for you.
@berwyn79 Have you had your teeth out yet?Im 31 years old and just 2 days ago they removed my 25 remaining teeth.Top and bottom.I was pretty scared.I have medicade and they gave me an IV to put me to sleep.,I was worked up over nothing.I woke up several times during the procedure but went right back to sleep,I didnt feel anything.The hardest part is coming home chewing down on gauze pads for like 6 hours to get the bleeding to stop.Day 2 and 3 are supposed to be the hardest.Im on 3,I feel great,
@MrRustyGuns ...wow...really??? thats amazing!! i wouldnt have the balls to do that..i thought public aid dint cover IV's....i thought it was just general anestetiks and ur wide awake the whole time they pull ur teeth out...my mouth is acting up again and so are my teeth...now that u have ur teeth out, how long will it take to heal and then have dentures placed in?? well sooner or later im gonn ahave to get them done..my teeth are getting soft and they are chipping and want to smile again..
YeHa after 30,000 in a life of rootcanals an caps,At 57 its all turning bad,Im trashin it all this week in mexico HeYa doraymeeeeee 1,000 us $ pullem all top an bottom Plates an a reline in 8 week Hea these american denest are some real winners with good an bad all geting payed way to much for there work,Because of insurance code priceing
