yea, the manga is better, and if your like me, iAM SO FUCKING EXCITED TO SEE NETERU DO HIS THING! i love the manga, i have to say, in my book, it surpasses bleach and naruto's storylines, yoshihiro did a great job.

It definitely surpasses Bleach and Naruto! I would like to see the Chimera Arc finish up pretty soon, though, so we can see what's going on with Kurapika and Leorio. (Leorio needs at least a mini arc of his own! I'm curious about his nen ability!)

I think leorio's nen is purple, or a dark blue. but his nen type is most ikely specialization, if they haven't said his nen-type yet, since he is training to be a doctor i think he is going to have a medical ability, like healing, or creates venom or anti-venom with his nen, which would probably make him a materialization type, i think. and i want to see gon kick pufu's ass!

I suspected a medical one too, but then again, Tagashi has a way of doing the unexpected so you never know what will turn out. Senritsu did say he has a "warm melody", so based on his personality, healing is a good bet if the mangaka IS going with predictable. It would be really awesome if he could bring back the dead (though that would take some STRICT rules).

And Pufu is quite due for a butt-kicking. Seeing as after his mental breakdown with the Pitou and Kaito incident, Gon is the most terrifying thing since crosplay, I think he's ready to give somebody the beating of their life. Seriously, what will become of his personality after this? Meanwhile, Killua gets in touch with his sensitive side. O_o Anyway, we can only hope Gon gets the chance to beat the glitter out of Pufu.

well, i love the whole, "rules for certain nen abilities.", that you can set up, (what killua did so he can only use his nen abilities against a ryodan member and if his eys are red, thus amplifying his nen.)because unlike dbz, (im not bashing on dbz, it was and still is my favorite anime)hunter x hunter gets really deep nto the whole nen/life energy base, togashi went as far as making the chart for nen types, which is what made me absolutely orgasmic over the manga.

he is a f'n genius.

but the have make another anime because knuckle s too big in the manga to not show him. but for me the best parts of the manga are the hunter exams, they get exciting. the genei ryodan parts. the greed island ending, like when gon starts to fight the bomb devil gensuru. and the chimera arc after kaito gets mutilated.

I didn't really like the Chimera Ant arc until after Kaito gets multilated (that sounds bad! XD) and Knuckle and Shoot are introduced. I'm sure more people will like the HxH manga after this arc is animated though. (at least I hope so) Tagashi worked way too hard not to have the recognition he deserves. Animes like Naruto that are extremely popular for english-speaking countries are overrated.

Besides, this just means he'll have plenty of time to brainstorm and make the chapters more epic when they come back. (With weekly mangas, they have to think on their toes, you know?) he had a hiatus for a year and a half, he can't be THAT sick. cus if he was, he would have cancer. he is lazy, ive read that it's because he disputwes alot with the editors about how much time they give him to make the chapters. and as of late, he has been winning those disputes. shonen can't let him go cus if they do, some other company is going to pick him up, and they will give him what he wants, and he will make alot more money than he is now.

It could be something like fibromyalgia, something my mom has. It makes you weak, achy, and can cause migranes. It can also affect your immune system so it's harder to fight off common illnesses. Then again, he could just be exaggerating his illness. -If he really didn't want to keep HxH going, he would have quit a long time ago, so there has to be something more to it than laziness.

Most mangakas don't actually live off their manga income. And if I were taking time off, I'd just have one long hiatus rather than a bunch of them in between stressful work weeks.

Any author that ever writes a story ever should have all of their plot planned out before they start trying to get published. No one should be thinking on their toes if they're a good author.

but look, thay may have the FIRST part planned, but after 150 chapters go by they are in the PROCCESS of making the second part. and since you only get a week to do the chapter, it basically doesnt leave them time to make the next part.

That's true. But with drawing/writing a manga, you have panels and story details to work out, and that certainly can't be planned in advance. HxH is a weekly series. The mangakas are usually a few chapters ahead of what's being published, but it's still a lot of pressure.

I believe you can find the dubbed episodes online if you do a little searching. ^^ I don't find anything wrong with dubbing in general, but in my opinion, the dub of Hunter was not very good at all. Names are mispronounced and Gon's voice is pretty bad (not to mention, most of the others). I appreciate their hard work, but in my opinion, it's not a very good dub.

@secr15 the guy he met at the end of greed island was a diifrent dude, if you pause it in HD like I did, you'll notice some diffrences. The majorone being his dad's hair is black, the guy from the beginings hair was a redish-brown color.
