  • why wouldnt u just hit the damn lock with the halligan? i mean damn look at how flimsy and weak that door was. you couldve just kicked it in with barely any force

  • @MarineARFF

Your aim isnt always to just gain entry with maximum force and speed. You may want less ventilation or still be able to relock the door after.

Would you rather replace the lock, door and door frame? Or just the lock?

  • we dont kick doors in anymore, its an unneccessary risk of injury. a firefighter with a leg or back injury isnt anygood to anyone.

  • Donkey Kick FTW

  • I would have been in and out with ONE good kick!

  • what a pussy way to force entry

  • Now I can rob a house!

  • Mmm hmmm.

  • Unfortunately, I know you all really are firefighters because you are bad spellers.

  • Ya bad spellers that would run into a burning building to save your ass right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you are an instructor or the one teaching other firefighters how to do this that why are you not stressing the importance of eye protection.... cover them before you loose them

  • or... just bust the door open with your shoulder...

  • Good video, but this can easily be used by degenerates to help themselves to peoples houses.

  • You think. I can't believe someone posted this.

  • if your house was burning and say you were up stairs wouldnt you like the firefighters to know how to get into your house. Becides anyone who is watching this isnt going to be bothered with taking your lock off they would just bust the window. cause thats what i would do then reach in and unlock the door...

  • lol....if someone REALLY wants to get in there, this aint gonna be their only option. most forcible entry techniques are usually derived from well known burglary techs.

  • Trust me I know. I have worked many cases of that.

  • lol i believe you too. the only reason we try to save the door is for property conservation, people. someone REALLY wants to get in the door, you think its gonna be that tough??? ITS FUCKING WOOD! you could use a ton of options to get in there...OMG! PPL ARE GONNA START BREAKING INTO OUR HOUSES NOW THAT THEY KNOW FF TECHNIQUES! are you serious? buahaha......

  • Take a chill pill retard.

  • Nice tecnique

  • lol kick that wimpy door down but yes very good learning video

  • You can't forget firefighters have to maintain the integrity of the door to close off the building, prevent spreading of fires, etc, kicking the door down could possibly cause the door to just be plainly destroyed.

  • yes true

  • lol my dads a firefighter and one of his crew on a call kicked open a door and when they were leaving my dad closed the door back up and it still closed and locked

  • In an emergency cituation which if your using forceable entry i dont think that the door being broken is not the main objective. saving the lives that are in the house is the main objective and if you can get in side the house using 20 sec worth of work as upposed to 4 minutes that could mean life or death for a person in the home...

  • Actually keeping the doors structural integrity is very important. Opening a door can introduce oxygen to the fire, causing rapid fire spread and flashover killing any occupants that could still be alive. While the through the lock method is not practical on a fire scene forcing the door in a way that it will still function is important. Through the lock method would more be used if nobody is home and the fire alarm is sounds but no smoke is showing.

  • very good learned alot thank you for posting

  • awsome training video, very informative
