homeworld doesn't work over hamachi, your best bet is to play a game over the Relic homeworld server

just go to the in game lobby, and make an account. you can then choose what server to play on and create a game

your best bet is to join the server and look me up. Ive also found the cure for vista 64 issues. check relic forums for more info. You can also join..

I've upgraded my computer to vista, homeworld 2 doesn't run, so i'm pretty sure that homeworld 1 won't run either

HW, HW:C and HW2 all run on my Vista computer.

HW2 needs to have vsync on, though.

Homeworld 1 does run through vista.

I am not sure if WON lobby will work but you can play online via Hamachi

...i have the disc, but i lost the case for it :( so when i went to install it agien... i figured out that i needed the stupid cerial number agien...

is the cerial number different for disc's?

yeah, it allows the user to play online without interference from other gamers.

it also allows Serria to combat copyright evasion

sadly, My disk is damaged beyond repair and the Internet-Gaming for it was screwed from the start. I had major lag and it crashed on me several times during the Second Siege of the Nebula level. It almost always crashed after I finished off the kadeesh Mothership. If I get a new disk anytime soon though, I'll game you.

Enought alking like a madman; My homeworld CD was copied at oe stage, though the copy was damaged, failing to install some files that my original WOULD install. Then, my original had the same problem vice-versa.

After a couple of disk-switches whist installing, I managed to get Homeworld running again =)

hmm you should've used higher quality graphics setting... and open gl... i remember this stuff used to look REALLY good for the time it was out... it was something ahead of its time... just like Privateer 2
