These techniques really aren't designed for greenscreen removal. Extract and Eraser tools just don't work professionally. The true way to do it is in the channels. You can see how it works at photoshop-illustration.blogspot.com. The tools you mention are for more complex backgrounds, but greenscreen is used precisely because of how it works with the channels. That's what the pros use.
This is the most lame way of screwing an image like this, sorry no offense but this was horrible. This is so so so immature and so unproficient, and the end result is just horrible! I appreciate someone trying to help, but I personally would not do try to teach something that will not help much other people. There so many more better ways for doing it. Masking and channels is the way to go.
Terrible. Does the background erase tool or masking ring a bell? Even if this is lower than CS3, a professional uses a mask. No dis to the creator, but viewers beware.
this was horrible the edges were so pixelated. didnt even take all of the background off
i would have
1. use the magnetic lasso tool and get as close to the model as possible. then select inverse and delete ... at this point all you have to do (if you did a good job) is go in really close and with the magic wand delete all the blue or feather the entire image which would actually help it blend into whatever you put her in
2. put a paper bag over the computer... hey anything would be better :P

I just noticed the date 2006-this is a really clunky way of doing this. Plus the model looks like a runaway 14 year old.
