After that fun I knock my eye muscle lose smashed my inner ear which made me deaf and was told I would never walk again. Because I was paralyzed on the right side of my face and left side of my body. Went back to work on building construction 1 year later, didn’t even pray once.

I have always wondered how religions "give hope" if all the promised rewards materialize after you die. A good spirit is more about personal orientation, motivation and having things to do than it is about having hope. A sensation like "hope" does not sustain itself; it is just an indication of the personal anticipation about something possibly happening later.
Thinking of hope is usually a signal of excessive passiveness. Get back to work, and hope will become non-issue.

@XCM666 Here's how I think of it. Religions are, for the most part tax exempt, right? Well, if they paid some fucking taxes, a lot of troubles would be resolved financially. Also, they would be more reluctant to spew vitriol and take money from the poor, because they wouldn't get to keep it all. The more they take, the more they pay in taxes. No-one is trying to change minds, we're just putting the ideas out there, having some fun at the same time.

I have always wondered how religions "give hope" if all the promised rewards materialize after you die. A good spirit is more about personal orientation, motivation and having things to do than it is about having hope. A sensation like "hope" does not sustain itself; it is just an indication of the personal anticipation about something possibly happening later.
Thinking of hope is usually a signal of excessive passiveness. Get back to work, and hope will become non-issue.

@XCM666 Here's how I think of it. Religions are, for the most part tax exempt, right? Well, if they paid some fucking taxes, a lot of troubles would be resolved financially. Also, they would be more reluctant to spew vitriol and take money from the poor, because they wouldn't get to keep it all. The more they take, the more they pay in taxes. No-one is trying to change minds, we're just putting the ideas out there, having some fun at the same time.

Personally,I think I've gone past the need for arteficial comfort and hope provided by religion,I think I can provide those things for myself without the help of largely nonsensical believes.Now I'm not gonna try to convince any religious people-that's almost impossible,but I don't see any logic when I look deeper In to,say,Christian believes and I don't see the need to believe in any form of god,do you?
