I think the words we as Minnesotans tend to use warrants more attention then the way we say them. The fact that eating at any point after breakfast can be confusing lol. Lunch, Supper, Dinner. People who think people from Fargo speak like this have NOT seen the movie. It's called Fargo because it shows the great lengths Macy went to get money, when "life is more than just a little bit of money". The movie is far more than just funny accents and it's a bit sad that people don't see this. Of course the accent is over done to be funny in the movie.

It's sad that people are complaining about this kind of thing when theyre wrong and theyre overlooking the best qualities of a great movie.

Then, after living in Oregon for about 5 years I saw it again and I laughed so hard I almost burst, the whole way through.

I didnt think it was funny before because, that stuff was all around me. The guys who wrote and directed that movie live in MN, they knew what they were doing.

Well, except for the naming it after a town in North Dakota. Freaking Moorehead is its twin city and in MN, why not that?
