You can't duck from a shot, it's physically impossible because the bullet travels so fast that when you hear the gun shot, it's to late. I remeber Myth Busters did an episode about this once, to find out how far away you would have to be to actually have time enough to duck, it was something close to 300-500 meters and you would have to SEE the shot and then duck, because by the time you heard the shot, you didn't have enough time to react.

The was seriously the most intense and emotional finale grey's has ever had. I could not help but both cry and sit there shocked throughout the whole thing.
He shot Derek because the woman called him "Dr Shepherd" and that's who the gunman was looking for and he didn't know that Derek was in front of him until then.

The was seriously the most intense and emotional finale grey's has ever had. I could not help but both cry and sit there shocked throughout the whole thing.

He shot Derek because the woman called him "Dr Shepherd" and that's who the gunman was looking for and he didn't know that Derek was in front of him until then.
