@axl3141 I'll try to explain it to the best of my ability. So the kid got bit by his dad, but is like his mom. So he only carrys the gene, he doesn't turn into a raged human. Somewhere along the flight he got his sister or the pilot infected, and they crashed. They kept spreading the disease now, it's heading to paris. Not the ending I wanted, but damnit it surprised me, rather than a predictable happy ending.

28 weeks later sucked compared to 28 days later...I mean the chopper going down and using its rotors to slice the infected...I'd pay £1000 to the first pilot who would willingly do that with some plastic figures. And the movie was so Americanized, first of all way too many guns..we had everything from 50 cal sniper rifles to m4, second the first film was realistic it was about surviving and concentrated on survivors..the 2nd looked like Resident Evil..it all was action, soldiers, guns ect.

Since the mom had different colored eyes, which was passed down to Andy, this became very rare. Since Alice was bitten by an Infected, that didn't make her into one of them it just made her immune, labeling her as a carrier. That still meant she could infect people.
