I am puzzled by why he would even pay off someone to stay quiet. Stay quiet about what? It is weird to do that when you are not guilty of something. He actually did admit in his own words that he was jealous that his kid was more fond of hanging with MJ than himself, he supposedly 'tried' to stop it by asking Mj upfront "are you having sex with my son?" apparently (?). He did not in anyway accept Evan's request for money at the start but Evan said "You will go down if you dont pay thats for sure, you are evil" and so on. In the end even though $20 million was pocket change for MJ, he was instructed by his people to offer a low amount like $350,000 but Evan refused. Yeah, either way, i believe MJ was a well misunderstood genius in his art, singing, dancing and so on but in his mind i believe he never really grew up and matured in the way accepted by the social norm. MJ was singin & dancin better at 11 than most artists at thier peak in thier 20's for example. Look, i'm sure you have your favourite people, your icons and so on. At 11 he was cute and all but thats it. But that music was from the 70's and no one really would look for that to jam since it is OLD music and he had the voice of an 11 year old. I dont care how much he was like then, but no matter what it is an 11 year old singing and it aint pretty.

Yea u can ask . We re cool and all. Well I hate no one. It just seems people just dont have it right. People just seem to gloss over stuff that just seems to be obvious. He was an unhappy man who was lonely and corrupted by choice and by circumstance. He was a regular person who got lucky in life and with desire was able to build an empire. MJ did have a few hits but that is where it is. Overall I did not follow his career that much since i do believe that though unique not that great.

I must admit I have not heard any of his uncommercialized stuff. I am a very musically inclined, not in talent but in tastes and appreciation. There is such a wide world of music, artists, humanitarians, idols. MJ is along there somewhere but he is not the greatest. The is always someone "better" out there. YOu say he was the most complete. U know I disagree. I dont see him doing any christian music so he is not the greatest there. If you are talking 80's pop icons I agree he may be tops.

Fair enough. I in my personal opinion, believe that he was overall the most greatest and complete 'commercial' artist ive ever seen of heard of overall, period. And ive heard of most. There may be someone better out there true, but if there is, i haven't heard him. If you know him, introduce me to him. lol. Anyway you may be misunderstanding me when i say 'complete'. I mean in his genre, im not including classical, choral, blue's, reggae, rap, hip hop obviously, but his genre.

Thanks for the clarification on what you meant about complete. Not my fave but he is one of the top in the genre. Madonna is up there though and she has been able to maintain. Madonna started in her twenties and MJ in his childhood. These two have perservered. Unfortunately MJ did not make it. Madonna still has time left and maybe she will trip and fall as well.
