Looking at how it moves, its hard to believe that its not a guy in a suit. Honda should get together with NASA to futher develope this technology. You can imagine ASIMO walking around with Curiosity, picking up rock samples and digging out the probe if it got caught in the sand.

I really like the look of this, just a couple issues with it in the workplace. it moves in a slow manner, taking a less normal route to a human. and it did not walk with the drink to the honda rep. tht would be the true challenge, if it were able to balance a drink and walk at the same time. That would be a sign of true intelligence. It woul show that the AI programming allows it to perform subconcious task such as balancing an object whilst walking. My bet is that it currently cannot do this :(

why? i think all the money put into this could have gone to something better.
