I wonder if the person that did the music for TGL also did the music for the Godzilla NES game, both were made by Compile at around the same time, but I can't find any credits for the Godzilla one, might have to play through it and see if there are any end game credits.
I remember I had this game on NES console long time it was a good game but too hard there weren't internet to find clue on how to beat the game. When you get stuck then you are stuck there is nothing you can do about it.
when i was too little to play games i would always watch my old cousins play this, mainly for the soundtrack. its magical in its own right. this game blends fantasy and sci-fi perfectly. OCRemix should have a remake album....
this was the first game i can remember playing as a little kid...one of my all time favs. i even hooked up the console not long ago and beat it twice, and on TGL mode as well. good times :o even can play a few of the songs on keyboard
I never finished this game when i had my nes console, but i finished it on my pc with emulator and this game is simply amazing, someone could make a remake on PC, so just imagine how good it could look with all good graphics and other stuff...
I love this game SO much... This game and Crystalis are the two BEST NES game ever made... And you know what's weird about this song? It sounds remarkably similar to Zelda 2's overworld theme!
Great music! I didn't even notice the accompaniment of the Area 9 theme before listening to this! Probably because of me shooting and using my secondary items constantly in those levels! Too many enemies -- the game could hardly handle it! XD

I'll never forget the guardian legend, why if she was real, I would have my picture taken for old time sakes.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Doubt it's intentional, but interesting all the same.

@tdark987 I'm surprised, because I've been playing both games for the past 20 years, and I only noticed it recently.
