@divc56 I was in Japan in 1994 and bought this single CD. At that time there was a show on Japanese TV that was using this song as it's theme. Would you know the title of that show? I believe it had something to do with "The summer with you" in the title.

I listen to so much Japanese music, but for me it always comes down to Yumi Matsutoya. Her voice , her soul, her lyrics, her music makes her so powerful a performer in my mind. She really is an amazing performer.

This was the intro for a J-Drama I used to watch on public access TV a loooong time ago. Maybe 1994-5? That was when Channel 31 was WNYC (it's currently WPAX) and it was cool because it showed J-dramas with english subtitles. I was (still am) an anime fanatic but it was cool to see japanese entertainment that wasn't bouncing boobs and panty shots.
