  • Simply amazing. If this was the techonology available 3 years ago, I can't wait to see how far it will get in 2012 and onwards.

  • wheres lurch ?

  • the hand cant open fully?

  • is amazing, but where did you got the myoelectric sensors? please, tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us, please tell us,

  • My son was born a week ago without his left hand. Your work here is inspiring. Thank you.

  • is this for sale?

  • Would you be willing to sell this?

  • Somebody needs to give this guy a billion dollars worth of funding already.

  • he forgot to show how it works when ypur jackin off...

  • Are you in America? I would love to share ideas. I am building a fembot myself, to care for people.

  • Smirnoff cap.

    Good man.

  • Astounding! Fantastic invention!! Subbed to you aibot.

  • @EWilsonLife

I am glad you notice the smirnoff Cap. Can't build without alcohol.

  • harro thar

  • meh, the luke arm is better

  • @CiniCraft

lol, luke never got a mech arm, your thinking of annikan

  • @mirokumasta

i don't think so, in episode 5 when hes getting his arm replaced the droid opens his mech hand.

  • yea, luke gets his hand replaced, you said arm

  • Amazing. Could help alot of people. Up untill Skynet becomes self-aware at least.

  • haha the robot hand becomes self aware!

  • @wpgm1

    rofl

  • i think ill buy one just so i can have a 3rd hand, hope it comes with a fore arm

  • Or you could wire it up to your foot and learn to control it that way!

  • Truly genious.

With that you could help pretty many handicapped people who had lost an arm.

  • I don't think it would be a very good idea to wipe the table right after you used the same tissue to wipe your nose xD

  • handjobs

  • thin you could responsible for bringing back thousands of peoples lives, making them feel less disabled hope your project on aiko is a huge success cause it seems to be doing well at the moment.

  • cool really awesome! :)

  • your an idiot

  • really dude its not like u can do any better

  • If you got the product I can demonstrate it. Now read back a sec i typed "... good product just very bad demonstration." Im all for the product, personaly i think its awsome!

  • hum with enough funding , adding 2 more join with and 90 and a 180 degree angle is possible. see how many join it got in 1 finger ? if possible put 2 more join in the mid of of the palm so it can do something like holding liquid ..I love to buy a hand like that , how much does it cost to create a hand like that i wonder . hell i would buy 2 for fun.

  • how much would u sell for 2 hands?

  • perfect

  • You're my hero... I really think in the next 10 or 15 years... I'll have more mechanical friends than breathing ones!

  • you just blew my fucking mind... 0o

  • humans are insainly mechanical on a molecular level.. chek some of that shit out man. molectular mechanisms or sumthin, peace.

  • needs some help with straws and pens but other wise absolutely amazing

  • That's amazing!

If I had to get one, it would be awesome to be able to do things so normally. But at the same time that would be creepy for a while lol.

  • cooooooooool

  • I have that helicopter!...but not the robotic hand :D

  • OMG Man!! You are a GENIOUS!! people have been thinking of this stuff for YEARS! and you have created it!!

your name should go down in the history books. you need to get sponsored. if i was a billionaire i would help you.

  • Great work man! Your an absolute genius! That hand could help soooo many people. What language/software do you use to program your software?

  • dude, pretty awesome. but how is the hand powered?

  • the hand is base on 5V.... low voltage for energy saving... and safer for human.

  • @aibot21 low voltage for energy saving!? Power is the product of voltage and current so what is the current consumption for the servos and controller? , and thus the total POWER consumption. Also which muscles are you using to control the hand ?

  • I can help you to get money for this project. But you will have to make a female version of terminator.

  • HOLY SH1T I CAN GET AN 8 HAND

  • I think every hospital should be funding this, What you have created is amazing and I can't wait to see what you have planned next

  • Hospital and government, does not fun basement work.... They need to fix this system.

  • I would sponsor this in a heart beat. lol technology like this is what moves mankind forward

  • Was this whole project by chance inspired by Chobits?

  • When I read the title, "fembot hand to service mankind," I had the wrong idea about this video lol

  • sugoi des!

  • DUDE!! you should get a whole bunch of people to make more and sell them!!! so i can buy them alll!!!! XD LMAO WHENEVER I GET A JOB XD

  • I WANT ONE WHEN SHES DONE ... you are soo great keep up the good work

  • Still a lot of work to be done.

  • wow! without the glow the hand really looks like the Teminator hand!! That's totally awesome =D

  • You are a genius! Sign me up for one of your robots when they're ready. I don't care, I'll go into debt.

  • nice work

  • Can it type on a keyboard?

  • The version two can type on keyboard.

  • Wow, nice job. I've always been interested in robotics. When i first came upon your youtube videos I was amazed. If I could sponsor you I would but I'm only 13. Keep developing Aiko and don't give up! One question though. When you first had the hand functioning where you going around the house doing everyday stuff with it. Thats what I would do If i had such a thing :P.

  • if you remember me, i sent u small donation a few months ago. TJ from USA

  • Hi, yes, I remember. Part of the money went into making Aiko new hand. Thank-you.

  • very impressive!!!

  • Connecting the hand to a human nervous system is one thing, but getting the AI to both move AND be aware of what it's doing must be an enormous amount of code writing?

  • Yes, many endless night of coding. With this latest hand for Aiko. Aiko should be able to do more things in the near future.

  • cool respect

  • thx

  • cool

  • I can't wait for the day I get to see Aiko completely finished. It is so exciting to watch her become more and more of a fully functional robotess. Hopefully if I make it to an old age it will be in a time that Aiko is affordable and functional. I would love to have an Aiko living with me one day when I am old and need help.

  • My next job is to make both hands, add new coding to the Brains software. The first thing Aiko will demo is making coffee for me.

  • Keep making those videos!!!

  • aMAZing~, at last aiko would able to feed you and do cooking now
