Why did that person kill Laura if she doesn't have anything to do with the will? Why did the person even kill Laura when she's taking a shower, didn't Laura learn to keep the door locked when she is getting a shower????????????????????????­?

@darthgrahf Look for a program called VDMSound. With that program you can open a exe file by right clicking and selecting run with VDMS.

Awesome !!! I love this old adventures. They were made with such a love for it´s characters and story.

I think it´s just great, watching these handdrawn animations and backgrounds. This game has everything to create a great atmosphere.

Some modern game designers could definately learn from this. It doesn´t need unnessecary high res graphics and effects.

I played this game a lot when I was 11. I used to think it was a fun game that allows me to explore rooms as I pretend to be Nancy Drew... until a chandelier fell on me. That was pretty traumatizing for a kid.

Also, agreed with you on the music: fantastic! :) I especially like the eavesdropping music, the LB1 theme music, and that fast, jazzy song at the Speakeasy in LB2.

The midi music has some strange harp thing going on at the end... I am so used to the PC speaker version of it that I just find that distracting. This game has my favorite Sierra music, though. Either this or Amon Ra.

that shower death actually makes sense... I mean, the killer doesn't know it's you... could be Lillian, Ethel (that thought sent a shiver down my spine...) or pretty much everybody else

Good point... although I'm sure the murderer would at least realize it's a woman taking a shower. Or actually, they'd probably just find out it's Laura if they looked at her clothes. But that's just nitpicking. No room for nitpicking in adventure games!
