  • hey everyone i just bout a 2002 mustang GT vortech supercharged, the owner removed the cats so obviously its loud and wont pass smog and the original cats are like a grand and to install universal ones is like 800, any H pipes or other exhaust that anyone here has bout that come with cats and sound good, im not a car expert.........

  • @aman450r american muscle.com has em for 150 or 250 or something like that

  • Yup great video im definitely going to have to upgrade to an o/r x

  • You need a supercharger your take off is slow

  • Very cool. I'm going to look at a 96 SVT Cobra with the same exhaust setup so it should be pretty nice sounding

  • I thought he said "I got a hard on" at 2:08 cause thats when I had one.

  • i had a boner the whole time i watched this, who ever said money cant buy you happiness is a dumbass.

  • needs a big ass cam

  • quick, stupid question probably, but it actually looks like you know whats going on. at about 1:52, starting from the front of the car underneith, i understand you first have the upr o/r x pipes, then connected to those you have your slp mufflers id assume right? than after the mufflers which are no longer mufflers what comes next? like i guess what im trying to ask is how do you get from mufflers to tips? thanks a lot. the reason i ask is im getting one come spring and exhaust comes first. duh.

  • sounds like a truck... too loud, no tone.... just noise..

  • Sounds like constant thunder

  • for some reson I stii dont like this exaust , I still think o/r bassani x pipe sounds better with flows

  • did u have the service engine light come on after removing the cats?

  • @dayy2000 im sure he did but thats what the mil eliminators do. they eliminate the check engine light only for the exhaust emissions so that if anything else was wrong the c/e light will still come on

  • @MeIsNateBeeotch hey sry took so long to reply but havent been on here in a while. Yes, my c/e/light comes on. Now I have installed a Kenne bell 1.7 and the exhaust has some crackling on desceleration. Any clues why?

  • Great car man It shure does sound awesome!

  • can i put a SLP LoudMouth on a V6 Mustang?

  • can I put aslp loudmouth on a v6

  • slp is the shit when it comes to exhaust!

  • hey, I have a 2001 mustang gt AUTOMATC transmission, and I'm thinking about getting and offroad x pipe for it, are x pipes compatable with autos or just manuels?

    thanks for the help

I'm only 17 so I don't know much about this

    sorry

  • no its not bad. its bad if it dumps it out close to the engine. thats the only reason it sbad. but since the pipe carys it to the back fo the car its not bad.

  • I'm sold on loudmouths!!!

I have Flows, but for me its not loud enough. That is an AWESOME video by the way bro.

  • thats the set up i have im about to put on the xpipe this week do i need o2 extentions?

  • MAN! i dont know what to do! i have o/r x flowmaster 40's on mine but someone is selling slp LM2's on Craigslist for $450! i wanna get it but i just dont know!

  • just sent chills up my spine.......

  • CAM THAT!!!

  • I have a 06 GT with pypes o/r x pipe and slp LMs. Super fuckin loud but thats how i like it. I was wondering if anyone has told u its bad for the car because its considered "open headers"? I heard open headers mess up your car. Wondering if anyone else had this problem with o/r mid pipe and slps. I dont kno if i should take them off or not???

  • @KillaConnect91 I have only heard that one other time and everyone i've talked to about this exhaust setup says its fine.. i haven't had any problems.. Just bought an SCT tuner and 3.73 gears and the car is a hell of a lot more fun to drive.. now just for the supercharger...

  • @psychoconker Open headers are only bad if they are shorty headers or the stock exhaust manifold. reason being is because it will heat up right wround wher eall your other things are because it dumps the exhaust right near the passanger. also is bad to breath in. so no this set up is not bad at all. also you can run headers only if they are long tubes because it will push them out a little further. hope this helped.

  • @KillaConnect91 ive heard this from people too.... the flow from a setup like this is very high with very little backpressure... id say if your really worried about it get a xpipe with high flow cats. thats all your gonna need to be 100% safe... these engines dont take kindly to open headers for very long... I like the sound from these but im a BBK header magnaflow o/r X magnapacks guy...

  • @KillaConnect91 it aint considered open headers the reason for worrying about open headers is cause they can suck debris up but that wont happen with full exhasut,..im runnin strait pipes off my 05 gt for 2 years now and its fine :)

  • @KillaConnect91 That is not considered open headers

  • @KillaConnect91 I have a 99 gt and o/r x pipe slp lms and they where great for bout 4 months then they cracked a header cause it got to hott..Deff great sound to have but just becarful with this set up

  • @KillaConnect91 Open headers is bad because it changes the backpressure the motor usually receives. This set up however, is not exactly like open headers. The mufflers have a special coating inside to catch specific shit (idk exactly what it is) but it makes it safe, but as loud as possible. nothing wrong with the set up :D

  • @KillaConnect91 Open headers burn up your exhaust valves I dont know about the system though

  • psycho stoner's 04 sonic blue gt ??!!

  • that sounds horrible...but to each his own

  • omg the difference, this is the set up i want for mine.

  • nice alarm clock for your neighbors

  • damn that sounds nice.

  • I got a hard on ROFLMAO

  • thts loud where u from r u from ILLINOIS cux i wanna make my car louder but im afraid to get pullover.. do u have any problems with cops.. pls let me know

  • never mind i didnt watch the whole video before i posted that comment

  • hey i have the same car 04 sonic blue stang gt i bought my xpipe and im think of a catback did you put the xpipe and catback on by yourself.

  • I LOVE the flowmasters for the Mustangs. It's the best hollow sound

  • sounds like shit

  • I don't understand it, SLP sounds terrible. Seriosly, they are a glass pack muffler. Sounds like a truck/camaro. They have no tone, just loud obnoxious noise.

  • sweet ride, there is alot of stangers who like slp, I don't get it . The car sounds bad ass what is it with slp

  • slp all the way or back away .... lol

  • i love the guy when he first starts it up "I gotta hard on" lol

  • Looks cool as hell with the the special edition Shelby wheels! Love the sound, man. Nice car.

  • at the end of the vid it sounds like a leak needs to be addressed anly when shutting it off

  • americanmuscle sell mill eliminators

  • THANKS dude good vido

    nice info"

  • hows that upr pipe fit and whats the install like on it? i saw they are only 99.99 on ebay

  • What do the SLP loudmouths do?

  • is an exhaust

  • They're resonators i found out, i know they're obviously part of the exhaust lol

  • man this is my favourite exhaust setup on youtube for 04's ...upr is crazy loud and loudmouth 1's are insane with the upr .... nice man i love this... people say its raspy but its fuckin mean muscle

  • does your engine check light come on with this setup?

  • I bought BBK mil-eliminators when they actually were selling them, its hard to find now, you can make your own for around 10 dollars with parts from radio shack. The mil-eliminators go inline witht he O2 sensors and trick the computer to always receiver the right reading and the sensor DOESNOT come on.

  • Slp's are sooo loud..but i LOVE them, great setup, when i sell my 6 banger and get a GT this WILL BE my setup! Very nice sound!

  • Why not an h-pipe its provides mid to high torque and horsepower over a much wider rpm band?

  • nice car with two mistakes......those ghetto wheels and those truck sounding SLP's. When the cameros and firebirds went away so should have SLP.........next mod= lowering springs and a different exhaust except good choice on the Xpipe

  • "truck sounding SLP's" wtf.

How does something "sound" like a truck man......or any vehicle for that matter. The "sound" is the "engine" and this car has a 4.6 L, just like some of the F-150's.....so they'd sound the same if set up the same.

Im sorry for being an ass, but "truck sounding" is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard.

  • hmmmm......the point is they are not set up the same so therefore they dont sound the same. Just because two vehicles have the same displacement doesnt mean they will sound the same. trucks usually have a hollower poppy sound hints SLP's sounding like trucks. When you have a straight through muffler on a moderate HP car youre gonna get that ugly raspy sound that is usually remnant of a camero due to their wierd exhaust set up or a truck neither which are the sound you want coming from a stang

  • @AirmanLamar who are you to dictate what this guy does with his money? It's his car and to each their own.You do what you want to your car with your own money. I personally like SLPs myself but that doesn't mean you have to, grow up and stop being immature.

  • @Renpolo really? this is a comment section so opinions are what its about.....those are my opinions not my order from christ himself. Put your big girl panies on and dont get your feathers ruffled over a comment that is not even towards you or your car(s).

  • The camera used in this vid really doesn't justify the true sound.. my other vid of the quick burnout is with a different camera and it sounds a lot different.. Also in the burnout vi i have lowered the car with eibach pro-kit and removed the gt front bumper and replaced with the 04 cobra front end

  • sounds so damn good when you throw it in third on down the road. i want a mustang so bad but cant afford one right now..haha

  • Sounds like a dodge intrepid!! LOL!!

  • Dude i really like how you put the vid together and the freakin car sounds amazing you did a really good job. Best part when you reved it up at 2:41 omg awesome

  • To loud for me to drive around in BUT it sounds awesome.

    Thanks for sharing with us.

  • lol u can hear the birds....its like 6 in the morin haha

  • Nice! I also have a mustang. It's black and has neons in and out of the stang. The car also has Flowmaster Exsaust and cold airintake on the V* motor. check it out!

  • does the midpide hang lower then stuck? does anyone know?

  • The midpipe might hang just a tad lower.. not too much noticeability.. i lowered it since this vid.. don't have too much problems with scrapping.. as long as i pay attention where i'm going

  • You should get some headers.

  • Working on it, will get headers once i save the money for the kenne bell 2.1 and grab some rear suspension

  • im wondering which is better the 44s or slp loudmouth. my car already has an off road xpipe. someone plz msg me on this im having a hard time deciding

  • SLP loudmouth if you dont care about loudness, because an Offroad X and loudmouths are the closest thing to straight pipes. Id go for the LMs though.

  • slp buddy

  • Comment removed

  • I had a buddy of mine and myself install it where he works for free, just parts was total aobut $800

  • Comment removed

  • ohhh thats not too much.. but since i dont know how to install it myself its going to cost me an extra $300 of labor work maybe even more. how long did it take for installation? ohh btw. do you think it can be install in my 97 ford GT?

  • 97 mustang GT

  • You can get this setur for your 97, wont be the exact same part numbers and such due to differences in the models

  • i like hows its all peaceful at the end with the bird chirping than he revs it up lol...priceless

  • yo car sounds sick man! i love it

  • I'm sorry, but the Flowmaster exhaust sounded better, it was smooth with no "crackle"

  • why would you do that to your car? i had slp lm1 and then made the mistake of putting an o/r x on it......needless to say took out the lm1 and put magnaflows with the same o/r x and souns waaaayyyy better....imo lm1's with the o/r pipe sound like shit

  • lucky. i had to change my exhaust with a jack on a rocky road

  • Can someone explain to me how the whole exhaust setup works. I want o/r x pipe with flowmaster 40 mufflers and mil eliminators. Is that it or do I have to purchase something else? What type of headers come stock on a GT.

Planning on getting a GT in the next few months, rolling in a V6 now. Oh btw when your friend said "I got a hard on"...priceless.

  • The whole exhaust system is 'bolt-on'. the stock GT headers are a shorty style header. if you change the headers out with shorty style then you can use the stock mid pipe. if you get longtubes then you will have to get a mid pipe made for longtubes. the catback is interchangeable with any catback system. Some pip cutting of the stock exhaust is required to remove it.

  • You know your stuff, thanks.

  • change the rims!!!

  • you and ur friends just happen to own a nearby shop with a lift? wish my life were that easy

  • Buddy of mine works at a shop and can use open bays when they are slow

  • so how much was the X pipe and loudmouths and install cost? Bad ass car man!

  • the x pip was ~$140, LM1s ~$420, and install was free.. did it myself w some friends

  • my opinion id go with the slp x pipe if i had one!

  • I did the under-drive pulley kit on a mustang with the same xpipe setup, and cherry bomb muffs. you can noticed the difference, and swapped the ratio on diff to 3.83, so accel is a lil more sluggish, but it makes it up on power

  • Comment removed

  • i love that melody man keep it up

  • Either your driveway was breathing in the beginning, or the camera was moving, either way that was a mind fuck from hell.

Good job on the car. Sounds bad ass.

  • Hahahaha dude! The fuckin driveway is breathing thats sick as fuck! Nice Mustang too, but god damn thats trippy

  • as far as loudness? yeah theres not much of a dif, but the tone each one is making is alot dif

  • lol i love how the music is scarey and that it builds to some epic climax

  • so not really much of a dif

  • are you def what u talkn bout no dif

  • Man that is fucking awesome. I cant wait till I get a slp loudmouth

  • i have an 04 gt with a full header back exhaust(BBK short tube,o/r Xpipe, no cats, flowmasters out back) and a cold air intake, i was wandering if the underdrive pullies are actually worth doing considering there 200$ or something, did u even notice a difference? theres so many sorta cheap mods u can do but i dont want to waist money if your not going to see a noticable difference for instance, u can swap the t/b, get a hand held tuner, all the basic bolt ons but im sorta on a budget

  • underdrive pulleys only add 8-9rwhp

  • yes the pullies help give them a try you will notice low end power not much high most low

  • No Offense i dont like mustangs at all big T/A fan but your car sounds fuckinn DERRTTY!!! BADASS RIDE BRUH

  • Yes, i need new rims.. keeping these til after i mod it fully to where i want.. I am getting gears 3:73 this summer.. The shift at the end sucked.. Camera mic SUX.. bought a new cam.. takes WAYYYY better vids and sounds better... exhaust sounds different cuz u can actually hear the deep rumbles and tone instead of all pop... will post more soon

  • nooooo go 4 10 thats the best

  • lol,good video.funny

  • Haha "i got a hardo" 2:09 =)!!!

  • you just shorted 1st gear because of the wheel spin man no biggie

  • sounds distorted. not a clean smooth tone like the flows u had. at idle it sounds tough though.

  • lots of wheel spin = it doesnt look like its pullin like it should.

  • sounds lik his is shiftin at about 4k and drops to about 1.5k...car needs better driver! i think

  • Man I dont know if its pullin right or not, but one thing I do know is that son bitch sound like a beast. Thumbs up to the car owner.

  • dude you need some gears on that car at least 3:73 cause your forcing the engine too much its not pulling like it should

  • "i have a hard on" hahah

  • Very nice ride, and great sound! Congratulations to you! I'm swapping my catted X and deltaflows for your same exhaust setup. Great video! Post more please.... Thanks!

  • it dose not sound like a truck ajhnson the only person laughing is you hater!!!!!! you must have a slow ass truck that caint even get out of its own way ha ha ha the car sounds good but you sound like shit trying to make fun at a car you wish you owned i give the car 5stars

  • Actually I have an 04 gt with full boltons and I mean EVERY BOLT ON and complete race suspension all the way around from tubular k, control arms, coilovers, aluminum upper/lower rears and tons of weieght removed from the car not to mention a 100 shot of nitrous. If I were a betting man I would bet my car could spank your loud truck sounding slowstang.

  • Oh and my ceramic lt's, off road prochamber and flowmaster catback is the sound your car could only dream of making.

  • you sound like a conceited lil bitch stop your crying no one started a fight with you! lol

  • I'm not conceited at all but have the right to respond to "everettemetoyer" 's attack on me. Did you not read his attack on me or did you just turn a blind eye to that?

  • It's a V8...its a common truck motor in a car. It sounds like it's suppose to, like a V8.

  • lol maybe its kinda slow because he started off with the wheels spinning?

  • chev fan boy are'nt u poof

  • about how much did it all cost...

  • haha "i got a hard on!"

  • major improvement from the shitty stock piping and "blow"masters. ive got the same set up with the o/r x pipe and slp lm1's on the 5.0, no sound sweeter, though they are a bit on the loud side but thats all good! being in the country allows that =)

  • lose the wheels

  • but it kinda fits the car

  • thanks alot

  • so what your saying is that the mill sensors dont come with the xpipe and these sensors basically trick the computer into thinking that cats are still on you exhaust...oh and by the way was it hard to install it

  • Yep, thats correct. And no, installing the exhaust is ez, just make sure you have the right sockets and grab some pb blaster and spray the bolts the night b4 you go to install it. I was lucky enough to have air tools and a lift but alot of people install them at home with some jacks/jack stands or ramps

  • ok i have a question if u can answer it that would be great...i have bbk short tubes with the back 2 cats eliminated and flowmaster mufflers and i was thinking about geting this x pipe but i heard that since u have to take all the cats off to install the xpipe wont the check engine light come on after a few months

  • If you get this x-pipe you will have emission problems, thats is why you get mil-eliminators which basically sends the correct signal to the computer so your CEL never comes on. They fit on the rear o2 sensor, you don't change anythig with the fron sensor.

  • how are those BBK pullies working?

  • They actually did increase MPG and power by a little.. i can feel a difference, went from getting ~19ish mpg average on a tank to ~20.5-21

  • Right on hows the crank pulley one look, i got the pulleys just dunno about the bbk setup

  • I think i have a picture in the video of the crank pulley, Its a little bit smaller. Not hard to install, just need a puller to make ur life easy. I can send a picture or go take some of it if you would like to see it

  • Hey man, just wanted to say that I figured out the problem, and that the lights never came on...the exhaust was done wrong.....thats bro

  • Hey man, just a quick question, I just baught a 1999 35th Anniversary GT..And I just installed a BBK Off Road X-Pipe, with the MIL eliminators...but the fuckin check engine light still came on...But I DID NOT buy the O2 Sensors///and the diagnostic said (System too lean, Bank 2) since i still got the stock ones on there, you think it's the O2 Sensors???? Please help me out man. Thanks

  • Did you put the mil eliminators on the front or rear? The o2 sensors should be fine, What mil-eliminators did you buy? Did someone make them or did you buy some from a factory?

  • yes i put them in the rear, and baught them from a factory, did you install the o2 sensors in the front??

  • You have the stock O2 Sensors in the front right??

  • The 02 sensors are totally stock, nothing was changed except putting the mill eliminators on the end of the cable

  • nice sounding stang, love it

  • What did you have to do to the computer to do the o/r x-pipe? I want to do it, but i hear u have to mess with the computer since theres not cats.

  • I didn't do anything to the computer, just installed the mil-eliminators on the rear o2 sensor cable, the just plug into the cable and onto the sensor, haven't had any problems with the SES light at all

  • cool vid

    cool car

    gay rims

  • Agreed.

  • sounds really good. im getting ready to put a slp loudmouth and o/r x on my cobra. the only thing im waiting for is the exhaust to get to my house. damn ups! cant wait.

  • Sounds sweet man. i just put on the lm 1 weld in's with an off road H its loud, but i love it.. check out my vids man

  • are you tired of it yet? i know that's loud as fvck cause i have a UPR X and flows

  • Actually.. I love it still.. Can't get enough of it really.. i will ride fourth gear at 2krpms just to let it rumble as i pass people.. and taking of in first.. i have to hold myself back at every light cause i just want to stomp it and scream passed everyone

  • haha thats tight. im lookin at the long tube bbk headers and bbk off-road x-pipe. i have the slp 1's cat back so hopefuly the combo sound unique.... and loud ass shit lol

  • whats by the name of the song???

    by the way nice sound

  • The song is from saw iv, the theme song, also by charlie couser

  • nice fKn pony !!!! SOUNDS GREAT!!!

  • what kind of flowmasters did you have on there before?

  • Flowmaster Super 40s

  • Sorry to tell you guyz, 4.6s need back pressure or you lose horsepower, SLP doent tell u that though.

  • as long as your using the restrictive stock manifolds i would'nt worry about it. I would'nt run SLP with long tube headers, and a catless x pipe, but with the stock manifolds im sure it wont be a concern.

  • dude put some 4.10s on that bitch....and some lowering springs :)

  • Check out some of my vids with 4.10s

  • oh yeah that 1st to 2nd needs a little work lol

  • yeah, 1st to 2nd was a lil sloppy.. i woulda redone the video but camera went dead.. bleeeeh

  • damn dude i knew i should have gone slp....

  • Dude i'm not a huge fan of Mustangs but that's a beautiful piece you've got there
