I watched this entire game... it was EPIC!! I barely remember the last stanley cup since I was only about 8 years old at the time and not really into sports, but this is definitely worth remembering. I even bought a really cool championship poster.

it was close but the Pens deserved it. If Fluery hadn't made those last 2 saves it would have gone into OT and undoubtedly the Wings would have won. They had more momentum at the time.

you still have to give some credit to the red wings for making it to the finals and making it go to game 7. i live close to detroit and would of loved to see them hoist the cup 2 years straight but it wasnt this year for them. i feel bad for hossa cause he wanted the cup with detorit but is former team won it. the red wings r still the best team cause they had a better record then the penguins so if they had a re match, the wings would crush them time after time! this is one of the greatest stanley cup finals ever!!! my wife and i were in shocked as crosby picked up the eastern champion trophy... we were both thinking wtf are you doing???? but it turned out to be what was right for the Pens... there is a few teams that i dont like in the league and this is my opinion. detriot is probably #1 followed by the rangers and flyers... if one of those is your teamno hard feelings to another one that loves the game i just don't like the teams... congrads pens!!

Coming from a DUcks fan who will always hate Detroit I must say Good Job Pens!!! And the fact that it was on their home ice even better. Detroit probably thought well at least I know some of their fans did like they have in previous series during the playoffs that they had this one all wrapped up, but it goes to show you what I've been saying all along. It ain't over til it's over. When the final seconds tick off that clock and the game isn't headed into overtime then its over. Congrats PENS.
