This video was recorded using Snagit 8 desktop capture mode, before FRAPS was DX10 compatible, so the FPS has been halved if not more in the video.

Actually that looked quite playable in my eyes, plus FRAPS can cause some slowdown as well for obvious reasons.

meh youtube can't show the real beauty of those dx10 video, best suggestion i recommend is head to GT and host your dx10 there, it look alot better. In the mean time check out my Lost planet video for the PC. me vs all the tough boss :)

your system struggles alot in this video.. but i have heard this is a very demanding game... and the 8800Ultra struggles at times to aparently. i got X1900GT OC'D dunno how that would play in this but Dx9 vers lol.

Wow, but it looks just like the 360 version ;). You're getting around 10-25 FPS, that's harsh, these new first-gen DX10 cards really lag it up. Either that or the drivers for DX10 still suck. anyway, I get 30-50 FPS with my 8800GTX, and I'm also getting the 8900GTX. Happy gaming.:)

No, I have updated to an 8800GTS 640MB. Read the information and the links in the video info box please - it's all explained there.

make sure you download the latest video drivers and most importantly the April 2007 directx end-user runtime

i dlded the dx10 version but the dam thing wont even open..but the dx9 works fine...my specs r pent 4 3.0ghz 2gb ram, 8600gts 256mb dx10, 200gb hard drive, vista home premium..now ill redownload the dam thing again..

I strongly recommend downloading the high quality version (13MB) if you want to see the DX10 effects close-up.

Note that the video is short because it's difficult to do longer screen captures in DX10. Most utilities don't seem to work properly.
