What is the chance of activating Aether twice?

pretty low, i mean aether gots about 27% to activate, if your skill is maxed. in hard mode you just hope you get aether when attacking ashnard, otherwise you are pretty much screwed

I heard that Resolve combined with either Adept or Wrath(or even by itself) works just as well if not better than Aether against Berserk Ashnard.

A resolved Ike does 23 DMG X2, which if Adept activates twice, is a ORKO. Aether does 36(9+27). Which is better, a 27% shot at 36 DMG or a 100% chance at 46? I'd say the latter.

berserk ashnard on hard mode is a REAL PAIN. i just kept running away so he wouldnt kill my other units. griffica helped A LOT. but the most annoying thing is when ike uses aether, he misses the 1st hit! u cant regain hp if that 1st misses!

Yeah, I'm thinking how I'm going to beat Berserk Ashnard without losing any units. I was thinking of shoving all my units into a corner, sending Ike into the middle with Rhys at a safe distance casting Physic. All that would be left to do is to hope Aether activates.

P.S: Call Giffca. I need all the firepower I can get. Also Provoke and Shade do not work.

Are you serious?? It is not that difficult - lure Ashnard out to the middle of the map with Ike, have everyone else wait just out of reach. If you did not trade Mist AT ALL, I think you might just be screwed - as a Valkyrie, she can move near Ike with the Physic, then move back out of Ashnard's range. After you defeat normal Ashnard by using Ike and Mist healing, call in Giffca. Ashnard almost always goes after Ike, even if Giffca is about to die.

1-Have at least one Marksman(Shinon preferable[he's best])

2-have ike and tibarn lvl 20 and maxed/close to maxed in speed, skill, and strength

3-have reyson(transformed[use a laguz gem])

4-Attack with everyone

-if she dies the first time, skip to 7, if she doesnt:

5-kill all the spirits

6- kill her again

7-attack until she has low health

8-attack with ike

All I have too say is try doing that to Ashnard on the hardest difficulty since after you defeat him he uses the fire emblem to transform and become more powerful. Also, when you play on the harder setting, You cant call for reinforcement from a laguz leader till after you defeat Ashnard and he tranforms. Not an easy thing to deal with but not impossible. :)
