Hendry is the best if you count all aspects of the game: talent, technique, discipline, mental game etc.

i dont think it is necessarily nerve i think it is mentality. Osullivan is another best, gascoine, maradonna, so set apart in his field and so isolated because of it and then with it comes the mental anguish

@Blackadder75 Total nonsense. O'Sullivan has more talent than Hendry, and can play both handed. he also holds average records in break building, and has managed more 147, 7 years before hendry. O'Sullivan is greater than Hendry in all respects except attitude and mental strength.

Yeah I mean Ronnie has won 7 world titles, more ranking titles and total titles than any other player, more century breaks, more majors, won more prize money, been ranked one in the world for 9 years. Oh no, that's Hendry. All this "Ronnie is the best" is for one reason and one reason alone, he is English, Hendry is Scottish.

Ronny is the entertainer. To me it does not matter if he beats all the records. WHen you watch him play you see that he is a genious ( in his good days ) ad that he is kind of mad ( in his bad days ). Hendry was a good sportsmen, but Ronny goes beyond that.
