I'd buy one of those awful Wartburgs just out of spite for the soulless and trollish cars of today. While one could say the Wartburg is a dumpy-looking car, there's something strangely human about it. At least it isn't what everybody else is driving.
Now, an early 70's Opel Diplomat is what I'd fork out to get but, that's another story.
The waiting period for one of these babies was 16 years in East Berlin. And they think the person who waited all these years would drive that precious car like a maniac on a dirt road and make the car jump?
