The big difference between the way that the actresses in Sera Myu dance and your group dances is that the Sear Myu actresses actually have enthusiasm and energy in their movements. Try putting a little more heart into your dance and it'd make a world of difference.
Actually, the difference between them and the Sera-Myu actresses is years of formal theater training. The only girls on that stage who had anything remotely like theater training were Moon and Mercury, who were both high schoolers during this performance. Jupiter and Mars had marching band in high school, but as they were mid-20s when this occurred, that was a while back. Venus had no formal training in theater or dance of any kind.
The difference is that these are fans. Get over yourself.
You CAN find karaoke tracks, actually. There are instrumental versions of many of the tracks available on SeraMyu CD's like the "Eternal Edition" and "Best Soundtrack" CD's. I found them on SeraMyu Antics, which has MP3's of all the songs on all the SeraMyu albums.
I liked it personally. Though I'll tell you to watch the make-up. For some people it didn't look quite right. Maybe try brown mascara on Venus and Moon's eyes instead of black..

well the lip synching was really bad. and the costumes are really poofy which really makes all you fat. Although i'm sure your not. the dancing in this kinda makes up for all of it though.

Yea its kinda sad. I know like Otakon usually gives you one handheld stage mic. Everything else has to be picked up by the floor mics. Without good overall projection either, the floor mics are practically useless. I wish there was more karaoke over here T_T. I love to sing.
Man, that is really sad. We, here in germany, normally have up to 3-5 headsets, 5-9 micros and a really good sound equipment (how the hell do you write this damn word??) ^^
