@webhat, it depends on the situation. The reason Ajax hasn't replace page loads today is because it effectively prevents the sharing of links and SEO.
makes me recall when IE development slowed down after ie6 because the browser had reached maturity and there werent any more features to implement..

@StoverTV it's probably easier for sites to not do page load and use ajax instead. In that way you don't even need HTML to enable this.
