Isn't it odd that G-d didn't make himself clear, without codes and theories? I have never understood this reasoning. It seems so round about instead of concise. As convoluted as it can get, it's not a wonder many disregard it.

Be careful about that. There are many bogus Bible code claims in the popular media. This is an example of a legitimate one. But don't fall into the trap of thinking the Bible is like a Ouija board for predicting the future.

The problem with what he does is that there are many textual variants in the Hebrew Bible - spelling etc that would throw the whole thing out of wack if you try to do those massive letter skips that he uses.

If you just think of all the people that have the record for citing tens of thousands decimals for the number pi out of their memory then this setup does not seem divine. Still interesting though.

Hardly the same thing... there are many more codes in the same text - which makes it being contrived by man exponentially less probable

Just look at advanced code that make up games or applications and you'll be amazed by how all that garbled text actually means something and does something.

Humans coded Windows and other operating systems (not to mention whatever is in NASA's computers) and even though they are amazing it's still a work of humans .

Just because the majority of people are less intelligent does not mean that we all are incapable of understanding and creating these types of things.

I actually work in cryptography and programming. You have to look at the whole picture - There are MANY codes in the same text. This is the most basic example.

BTW they didn't have computers 4000 years ago when it was written. There's no way humans did it.

Just because the codes are many it does not mean people did not make it. They creators probably had lots of time for making codes and puzzles since TV with educational shows like Fox News and other worthless crap didn't waste their brains and make them retarded.
