I just wanted to thank you both for this great recipe and all the encouragement and inspiration. I never would have attempted to make crepes until I saw your video. This recipe came out absolutely AMAZING! Thank you again for all the positive energy and great cooking tips, tricks and recipes. You guys are the BEST! ; )
I wanted to comment on the video for cookies by your kids. They are both adorable and such a mature sense of presentation at their age.....love the big boy's enthusi
asm and sense of humor. They both did wonderful and we would definitely like to see more videos from them. Muuaaahhh to both :))
Its pretty common in Poland. But we usualy use white cheese+sugar , jams fresh fruits as fillings thats kinda traditional :D And we serve it as you do but we aswell roll them like roulade :D
It seems like your new video with kids didn't have good review. I wanted to post a comment on that video. However, comments are disabled for some reason. Please let both of your kids know that they did an awesome job. They were funny and cute. Don't get disappointed because of comments.... This is life. It rakes a courage of kid of your age to make a video.
I am big follower of your show. Your recipes are always precise and comes out perfect. You should be on tv show. I had crepes at a restaurant which was very crispy. How do I make them? Thanks for your wonderful work.
@dvk877 : Try making them a little thinner. We have been told that the crepe vendors in France use corn starch but have never tried it nor can we authenticate it - but if you do try it, do give us your feedback.
I have some idli rava lying in the shelf for quite some time, my hubby HATES idlis so making idlis is a big no-no.. can you please mention some recipes to make with idli rava?
You can use the idli rava to make idli batter but make uttappams instead of idlis. Just add chopped tomatoes, onions, green chilies, cilantro, salt and a bit of cumin powder. Spread the batter on skillet like thick dosas.
Nutella! Have you ever tried putting it in the fridge, leaving it to set hard overnight and just scooping it out of the jar the next day? Okay, I'll shut up!
@Heasytastic we have been always putting in the fridge and the next time you try to open it, it is so hard. it wasn't until about 3 months later that the container said not to refrigerate...
@TheAusindian I heard about an egg substitute you can try, it's called Ener-G! You can find it in most health food stores. You might need to tweak the consistency just a bit because the Ener-G is a powder. It's great for those who have food allergies. I hope this helps :D

You could also put the sugar at the time you would put the cheese for a salad one. You'll get a carameled crepe!

@iamthedragonslayer some commercial pancake mixes have ingredients that provide too much "lift" for good crepes
