...bits of griptape. I do notoriously horrible grip jobs and always have bits stuck to my wheels. One of my neighbor kids still has that same set... pretty wicked.
@grimcity ok i've had that happen too. I have the tnt park burners right now. I like them in the indoor slippery masonite parks because there a little softer so they grip better. Keep on skatin brother!
I represent our local skate shop (Small Times Skates), Flat Fitty headwear, Screw You Hardware, and I do product testing and other stuff as a Deluxe Known Associate.
Having said that, the only thing that matters is having fun! I've never asked for a sponsorship or made a "sponsor me" video. I've just wandered around with a skateboard being oblivious to stuff like that. Stoked to represent people that I support, though!
Hey Neal love the channel. I'm a 35 yr old skater from the UK :). I try & get out when I can.
This is gonna sound a bit stupid but what pants/trousers are you wearing when skating in this vid, because they have a real nice fit to them? Not too tight u know what I mean ;). What brand are the black pants, khaki pants & navy pants/jeans pls? Thanks in advance
Cheers from the states man! Easy question to answer! All of my pants (non denim) are Dickie's "Double Knee" relaxed fit/straight leg. Almost all the jeans I own are Wrangler (a cheap brand here) that are also straight-leg/relaxed fit. They usually cost me about $17-25 (USD) a pair... cheap and they last!
I can't promise anything, but I would imagine they'd set you up proper.... email Damon (at) DLXSF (dot) com. You might have gotten an off-mix of urethane. Let me know what you hear back man!
Not sure man... I've ridden them before, and like 'em a lot, but I'm really partial to Spits in general. I ride F1's mostly, but all my other wheels are Spits of one form or another!
Aye, the concrete is really good, but there are some little pockets from weathering... outside the park I think all the concrete was indeed very crappy! Cheers!
You and the other cats telling me not to smoke is seriously the coolest shit ever. My wife got me an e-cig kit, like, it has nicotine but no carcinogens (it's suspended in veggie glycerin with menthol added in my case). I'll bring it up in the future, but as of this writing I haven't had an actual cigarette in over a month!
Anyway, thank you and to the other cats for getting onto me about it. I've always thumbed up every post I saw that told me to quit, now working on it!
Dude i also skate these wheels and they are amazing and these wheels where the first ever spifires i started to use when i got into spitfire but my all time most awsome wheels have got to be the spitfire big heads
Basically just write lots and lots of letters and emails. It's different with Deluxe though, this was an ad in their catalog... I'm a Deluxe Known Associate and am good friends with a lot of people that run the place.
You should do a review on the new Zero p2 Decks man , there really good and i would like to see what you think of them , also note that they are addictive as hell and you would never be able to use a normal 7 ply deck afterwards , well peace and thanks for the videos
your videos are getting better and better every time keep making vids where not getting tired keep skating. also what do you think of khiro bushings thanks for the uploads your the man
my experience with street burners is that they flatspot quick when power sliding or doing a lot of sliding related tricks so i switched to STF's. Lately i've been thinking about switching it up and going back to the street burners. However, I skate 3 to 4 hours a day, should i keep with the STF's or go to the street burners?
I really don't like telling people what they "should" ride, homie... STFs are good wheels for sure, if they're working out for you better I'd just roll with 'em. Cheers!
Man I love spitfires and deluxe. They have some of the most loyal fans out there but they REALLY need to make a TRUE flatspot resistant wheel. Ive gone through three pairs and they all were yellow and flatspotted. Bones did it and its about time spitfire does it too.
I like how he says he's not mr hammerman but then he throws Down some of the best skating ever. Yet he looks like hes just having alot of fun. Proly cuz he was. He influenced me to get them

Sure thing! I like Park Burners a lot, but they have a little more grip than I tend to prefer while skating concrete park, but they're perfect for street or wood/skatelite/masonite parks. To me, the Streetburner is a better all-around wheel. Not insanely slick, and they can dig in when you need them to. I still ride them as my #1 choice.
The Powell wheels I respect, but as you eluded, they feel like plastic to me.
you actually fucking rip... most of the "old" skaters on youtube think there good cuz there old and they can do shit easy tricks, but you actually rip!
dude you do rip! i just went to my local skateshop and the guy said he would sell me spitfire f1 streetburners for half price so i got them and they're great
man, I don't really know since Lizard left... I tell you what though, I can and will message some homies at Deluxe and see if they might re-release them somehow!
D'Oh, it seems I was mistaken... I thought he had gone to do some stuff with baker boys dist., but I am completely wrong on that one... he is still with Spitfire, but I don't think the new catalog has the glow in the dark F1's. Sorry for the misinfo!
ok listen, i got some new 51mm sean malto spitfire wheels did 3 powerslides that were about 3-5 ft long and i got tiny flat spots already!!!!! Y???!!!!!

btw , i think i want to get wheels ,but my fds keep saying dun get street cuz streetburners super ultra hard , so , if its too hard wt wud happen ?? i dun wan flatspots cuz i love to do powerslides both to stop n having fun
I have been riding a set of Chris Cole Spitfire F1's for about 2 weeks now, and I am disappointed to say they have developed flatspots... and i don't even powerslide.
No, I'm what they call a "known associate" which just means that I have a lot of friends there. I test ride stuff they're experimenting on sometimes, but mainly the guys that run the place are good homies.
Im 13 and have only been skating 2 years and all ive skated is spitfire.....well up until now when my spitfires of 5 months flatspoted and my friend hooked me up with some shop wheels.......but sick videos man
Hey Neal how may i buy these? I want to buy them on the internet but everytime i click on the link to the site i can't do anything 'cept look at ads. I boycotted buying from large chains (and my local Zumiez doesn't have 'em to begin with) and there are no skate shops even near where i live.
@grimcity the review is very nice and you seem to really like the F1s. I got some for Christmas last year(56mm) and Ive been riding the same set up until now. The concrete that I skate on is very jagged and through six months of skting thses wheels, they have only worn down 2mm. Also, you kill it at skating!
@aaronskate15 Hey Aaron, thanks for the nice words, and I can relate to you concerning the concrete... our park is indeed smooth, but my favorite street spots are really janky... like cheese-shredder concrete! haha. Glad to know you're having a good time on the wheels... they're still my primary wheel, outside of reviews or messing with different Spitfires. Cheers and have a fun 4th of July! Peace!!!
I really want to try F1's and Theeves now. I'm on Firelites and Ventures at the moment, and so far they're pretty good, definitely not a let down, but next time I stock up I think I'm going to try those.
Sure thing... your shop probably has an account with a distributor like South Shore or Eastern or someone like that... if your shop already carries Deluxe products (Real/Krooked/Anti Hero/Spits or Thunder), then they can access them. I don't know of any distros that don't carry Deluxe, so your shop guy should be able to get em for ya. As far as the glow... it actually penetrates all the way in the wheel... I have them on an old setup and they're still bright, esp from the sun!
@fairfaxsurfshoprider Nate's actually a pen pal. I probably skate more tranny than he does, but I don't deny the resemblance in technique, haha. He's a good guy.
@fairfaxsurfshoprider You sound like you know him! Yeah, I back Nate any day. I had an opportunity to interview him a while back (in text, on my skate shop's site). He's eccentric, which I don't see as a bad thing, and he really loves skating. Every time I've been on the phone with him he was literally on a board. One of the most sincere people I've ever had the privilege of talking to. More energy than a million car batteries, too!

hi happy holidays :) i was wondering if you could chime in on how street burners compare to park burners. in your opinion/preference .
i haven't found a direct comparison (looked for days)
everyone always compares either one to Bones, but not each other,
i steer clear from spf, and STF. they remind me of old hollow plastic Darkstar wheels
.. i had a serious bail awhile back with those slippery SOB'S
smartalex23 1 year ago

Sure thing! I like Park Burners a lot, but they have a little more grip than I tend to prefer while skating concrete park, but they're perfect for street or wood/skatelite/masonite parks.

Also, you kill it at skating!
aaronskate15 1 year ago

@OneManSteezKr3w I actually got mine where they were made, but your shop should be able to order them.
grimcity 1 year ago
@grimcity hmmm...where should i tell my local shop to order from, and one more thing, does the "glowingness" wear out and stop to glow?
-thanks agian

@OneManSteezKr3w
I have them on an old setup and they're still bright, esp from the sun!

you skate like nate sherwood
fairfaxsurfshoprider 1 year ago
@fairfaxsurfshoprider Nate's actually a pen pal. I probably skate more tranny than he does, but I don't deny the resemblance in technique, haha. He's a good guy.
grimcity 1 year ago
@grimcity He sure is and you seem like one too!
fairfaxsurfshoprider 1 year ago
@fairfaxsurfshoprider You sound like you know him! Yeah, I back Nate any day. I had an opportunity to interview him a while back (in text, on my skate shop's site). He's eccentric, which I don't see as a bad thing, and he really loves skating. Every time I've been on the phone with him he was literally on a board. One of the most sincere people I've ever had the privilege of talking to. More energy than a million car batteries, too!
