It is a dilemma. Of course the producers own the copyrights. And they have the right to defend themselves against illigal publication, but the producers of these beautiful and popular contortion video's should keep in mind that YouTube is a very good way to draw the attention of a lot of people to their work. This could lead to a ancrease of the sales.
I do understand why they've asked you to stop, but I also understand why people want to see the videos. Compromise: The video producers could make, say, a five-minute preview clip which people can freely upload to Youtube - and if people want any more, they pay. Free advertising ;)
We producers have to pay big money to hire these models. And they deserve every bit of it. And, sometimes we have to travel as well. This costs money. Then, we use top notch video equipment to shoot and edit our videos, as well as our own time and expertise. Understand ?
And what .. we ought to just give it away for free ? or let our work be distributed by people like you who are too cheap to pay a few bucks for it ?
yeah they dont get it do they. they dont seem to understand that they are taking away from your kids. how are they going to college and how are you paying for the gas to take them to dr appts.there a bunch of jerks man. but i see there point to. yours is higher than theirs but i do see their point.
