  • I'd love to see this out on vinyl (Macca and Ringo, you reading this?)

  • For people like me who downright WORSHIP The Beatles it is not a waste of money simply because it is a collector's item. They made a LOT of the stereo box set. Only 30,000 USB Apples were made. God I just wish I could afford one.

  • The only reason why anyone should buy the USB Apple is if they are audiophiles that have a really expensive stereo/audio system (Bose does not count) and only listen to Flac files. For everyone else buy the CD boxset and rip the CDs in 256KBs or higher, or iTunes if you don't like having a collection of CDs.

  • USB!!! WTF!!! I prefer listening music on CDs or vinyl discs!!!

I even prefer a cassette than having a little USB in order to say "I have The Beatles' music".

  • for some reason, i found it hilarious when you said 'beatles tissue paper'

  • @flarbton It's a waste for getting the same songs twice

  • $1M

  • must had cost you a lot of money

  • I wish they would also release the USB drive without the pre-loaded music, for some people that already has the music like me, with a lower price. I would buy that, but not this because I already have the music and it would be a waste if I bought this.

  • @flarbton Umm Yeah actually i do. i'm aware of the 24-bit FLAC files on here and that they're the highest quality, better than CD (16-bit). i was simply letting the person know that there were also pre-encoded 320kbps MP3 files ready to go on here in case he/she wanted to port them over to their iPod for on the go purposes. did you get that?.

  • lmao beatles tissue paper

  • @HeadsetReviews I don't own the Beatles USB Apple but i can tell you that you indeed can. all the songs on it are encoded in MP3 320kbps files, ready to be copied to your PC or Mac directly from the Apple USB, into your iTunes music library, and downloaded strait to your iPod, iPhone, or iPod Touch.

  • I'm very surprised the put them as flac.. considering most players don't support flac and they'll have morons saying "Why doesn't it play on my ipod?!?!"

  • @thornygravy maybe 'cause flac is an open source format

  • I want the apple usb and the mono box in the future.

  • The USB looks awesome - but probably very vulnerable to wear and tear with use. I just downloaded the whole thing anyway, lol.

  • I would love to have the usb one. I'm an uber fan.

  • I´ve read that this USB stick sounds even better than the CD´s.

  • thriller i say if you are a true audiophile get the apple but if not the box set is very great too, and a lot cheaper for the same stuff

  • I'm not sure which one to get, what do you all think?

  • Personally I would go for the box set as it has a nicer packaging and it'd make a nice box for other CD's, I guess. But it's up to you, if you want to throw the songs onto your computer without putting in each CD one by one, I'd go for the USB apple. If not, box set all the way.

  • I'd suggest the box set, so you can use cds in your car or cd player or just upload them to your ipod

  • @wiifan3 I prefer the Stereo Box Set as well for the physical discs, booklets, cases, packaging, etc., but for those that prefer the USB Apple they can still load all the music on their iPods since they're 320kbps encoded MP3's. as for cd's for the car or cd player they can simply drag the MP3 albums directtly off the USB stick, add them to their iTunes music library, and make cd's of the albums that way. pretty simple. but yeah i still prefer the actual Stereo Box Set :D.

  • Thanks, just bought the set for a self Christmas present. Won't "play" with it or open it until Christmas. Nice to get a peek. I'm 46 but still like to open presents, even if I bought them, lol. Ed

  • pretty awesome sets
