  • hey! i am a highschooler that it taking sign language this year. we have decided to sign this song as a group project and we were wondering if you had a sign for sign sort of translation. we are really inspired by your signing (which is beautiful) and would love it if you had any time to help us out, thanks!! :)

  • @raindown4life I added the gloss (a written out sign for sign "translation") of what is being signed in the video. Click show more under the video to see it!

Video tape your class project so we can see what you have done :) - Good Luck!

  • Karen you really are very talented as signing - can't believe you only have 2 videos up! Your signs are clear and the transitions are great as well. DO MORE VIDEOS!!!

  • I love this. What does ''glossed'' mean?

  • @MrMuzikluvr Glossed essentially means a written code for ASL. For example, when I prep a song that I am going to be signing I make a written "log", for lack of a better word, that I use to identify when to sign what sign. This comes in handy if I interpret for a band and they come back the next year, I have their songs already prepped. I can refresh my memory with the gloss I have written out and I am ready to go!

  • Beautifully interpreted into true ASL! I love how you interpreted the concepts. Her songs are full of English metaphors and analogies that wouldn't make sense in SEE or PSE. On top of that, it was wonderfully choreographed to the music. Brilliant! *smile*

  • Please sign more music!! I LOVE YOUR SIGNING! It is true ASL not SEE... Where did you learn to sign???

  • You are just BEYOND fantastic. Outstanding.

  • very beautiful interpretation

  • Love Love LOVE this!! Your rendition is beautiful. I love how you use your whole body and you seem to "feel" the song. BEAUTIFUL!!

  • i love your "undefined"concept!

    brilliant

  • Nice interpretation. I like! Good job!

  • I have a son with Cerebral Palsy who signs..we are learning with him. We have made progress..then gone backwards because the public schools refuse to sign with him because he is not deaf only unable to speak and write...this opened him back up and brought the light back into his eyes. He loves music and he loves sign..it is so beautiful..thank you! You gave me something I could share and learn with him. He will watch you sign this ten times in a row or more if I let him. He is five.

  • Wow, *smile* amazing. I really liked how you interpreted this, really made it ASL, very clear, love it. Great concepts, cool transitions into each sign.. = D

  • beautiful interpretation:)

  • Banerika -

When signing "release your inhibitions" it is a concept sign that I am using. It is actually your two hands pulling down a "chain" from your neck as if something is holding you back and then letting your hands go. Does that make sense?

  • Makes perfect sense! Very cool!

  • Wow.

  • awesome job again! keep it up!!! definitely talented! never get discourage cuz u got fans now!

  • When the song is "release your inhibitions" are you signing avoid addictions? If so, pretty awesome. If not, tell me what you were signing! This is really fun to watch.

  • Wow! My eyes are dazzled!!! 5 stars for you!

  • This is amazing. Everything about this is perfect.

  • Oh My God.

    I absolutely love this!

    Your are really very talented!

    Beautiful!
