@YeahNigguhhh he's not mixing trance music, he is using battle records designed with different old school hiphop tracks on it in short snippets and other various samples(some placed back 2 back), so he juggle them and create new rhythms. if you want smooth 10 minute interlaced tracks mixed together perfectly, then i am afraid your watching the wrong video. however if your looking for one of the pioneers of hiphop djs, your in the right place.

@tonyo524o524 that's because the original DJ's for the Beasties weren't even close to MMM they were in order Rick Rubin known as DJ Double R who was replaced by Doctor Dre not "Dr. Dre" who was replaced by DJ Hurricane who was replaced by Mix Master Mike.

After the 1994 DMC World Champs he and Q became DMC judges after being asked to retire from DMC Comps although DMC disputes that happened.
