Your hdd does not usually overheat, it is the CPU ang GPU procesors. Or it is the video ANA or HANA Chip. Cool mod tho you should do a case mod and cool off your heat sinks

one way u could keep it cool is once the 360 warranty is over take all the compnents out of a 360 and and put it in a old computer casing u may have to modify th old computer case nut u will get alot better air flow through it

get a inter cooler open it and cut the wiers that the fans take from the main power cable then drill a hole on the side and pull the fans wiers out and then get a 12 volt adapter and wier them together and ducktape them. it will look like a normal intercooler but with a ducktaped wier on the side and this really works i will be posting a video about it soon for the people that have a intercooler. intercooler can fuck up your xbox 360 by draining to much power thats why i did this mod.
