at first i didnt like erotica, except for the title track. then i gave it a listen and i liked about half the album. in all honesty, i think maybe 2 or 3 songs are about sexuality. the rest is her average album. nothing really over the top. i hope for her next album/era she does what she wants to do with the "i dont give a f*ck" attitude she used to have back in the 80-early 90's. i know shes a mom and all but damn. she needs to show these little flop princesses how its done

i love madonna's point of view on sex. Its not something we should be ashamed of, its just human nature :). And another thing, Erotica as her 10TH ALBUM?.... Madonna, Like A Virgin, True Blue, Like A Prayer.... Am I the only one who notices? Or am I just crazy?

She's right people are hypocrites.....

It's down right stupid to try and push your prudish and stuck up views on with is or isn't sexy onto others. Most of her critics & haters probably saw something in her book or heard something in her album that revealed something about themselves they were afraid to face.

The Erotica Era was her most artistic period of her career.

And to this day the book is the most popular coffee table book release of all time. So someone wasn't that upset @ the time.

And thinking of that "Erotica" was the least comercial and most artistic music album she ever released - she admited "Secret Garden" is the best song she has written, "Erotica" is OK, but lyrics of "Erotic" ("Sex" book version) is even better, just look at "You thrill me" and "Fever" demo's - they are out of "pop" value.

And thinking about "Fever", "Rain", "Bad girl", "I'll remember" videos- they are iconic pieces by Madonna, "Girlie Show" tour?

As she once said "I can dress like that and I can behave like that, but I'm in charge". And she really showed it. You can be a Barbie like sexy pop star and it's OK by public (look at Britney or Rihanna) but if you put some inteligence in it poeple notice you're not their play toy anymore and start b*tching about you.

I agree w/ Pamelinka, Erotica was a wonderful album. Everyone thought the album was only about sex, but it went much deeper than that.
