I get what they are trying to do with the regulations. But couldn't they have just said something like "no grinding or otherwise lurid or offensive sexual moves or simulated sexual acts while dancing" and left it at that or are they having such an issue that they needed to spell it out? The wrist band idea isn't bad - you are warned once and have it cut off - then if you are caught again you are booted out. Sounds fair. Hopefully the kids still get to have a good time.

I get what they are trying to do with the regulations. But couldn't they have just said something like "no grinding or otherwise lurid or offensive sexual moves or simulated sexual acts while dancing" and left it at that or are they having such an issue that they needed to spell it out? The wrist band idea isn't bad - you are warned once and have it cut off - then if you are caught again you are booted out. Sounds fair. Hopefully the kids still get to have a good time.

Its a big joke buy the school staff. There turning the gym into a roller rink so that they can get kids to skate there on weekends and spend their hard earned money so that the school can actually afford to keep the sports program in the current economy. That is why feet on the ground at all times.

I think that some schools take it too far but other schools don't enforce anything. Seriously at your senior prom who gives a flying F**k? But I think more enforcement needs to be done at a younger age, I remember at my 6th grade dance there was "grinding" Which makes other 6th graders feel peer pressured.
