If a civilian did what those cops did, it would be a chargeable felony. The cops can only be threatened with violating PD policy. I highly doubt if he knocked her out on purpose, you can tell by how afterward he's concerned and trying to revive her instead of just shoving her in the car. Clearly the woman did something illegal if she had to be arrested, and the way she was reacting, she seemed what I would put as "mental." It doesn't show the child for the rest of the video. If I had to bet anything, it was probably taken by social services. Just because the camera doesn't show it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

If a civilian did what those cops did, it would be a chargeable felony. The cops can only be threatened with violating PD policy. This is one of the hallmarks of a totalitarian state, i.e. where government employees are held to a lower standard than the citizens. This whole affair was unnecessary, and a mother trying to defend her child would be excused if anyone but the police committed the same offenses to her. I fear for our country when things like this happen.

First of all we should not pass judgment on the lady, we do not know what happen prior to her being cuffed. Secondly any motheer may become outraged especially when you hear your baby crying uncontrolablly. Finally the officer's are cold hearted, individuals for not even trying to comfort the baby. Not all cops are like this NYPD do have some good officers too. But this is really awful to hear the infant screaming at the top of its' lungs. God don't like ugly.
