@whiskerchild Make sure you know what color your pepers are when they are mature. Let them go ripe collect direct and plate. They will snap in half when dry enough to store. Cantaloupe should rinse clean in a colander with cool water & very mild soap solution. Drain & plate to dry.
I placed three tomatos partially eaten by a blue-Jay on a white ceramic tile in the sun. I just now broke them apart and were mildly stinky. Do yu think that should be sufficient. Just rinse and dry as you showed?
@nannerin Edward, with the stinky description, it sounds like they may have fermented. I would squeeze 1/2 the seeds into a jar, half into a strainer for a rinse. Add some water to the ones in the jar & ferment as I showed, just to be on the safe side. The other half rinse and let dry. Plz let me know how they turn out. With Love, A
sproutin' the mango seed,.....coupla years ago i planted a sprouted mango, avocado or mamey seed and it grew! The tree grew to about 24 ins. tall and then it died,...hmm...ya think the severity of winter here is what killed the tree? As for them papaya seeds,...sometimes when we buy a papaya there are sprouted seeds, gobs of them,...so i thought if i'd carefully remove them and place them in soil they establish themselves,...not....why is this my pal? Thumbs up to ya my dear A!!! =D
@qualqui I hear some ppl talk about sprouts dying after they get a couple of inches tall. This could be lack of or too much sun, not enough nutrients, too cool.... hard to tell. Same w/ your papaya.... What are your winter temps.? Since these are warm weather lovers I would pot them to bring them inside to over winter. I will keep you posted on germination & growth of the ones I am attempting! Xo, A
I have four mangos here and am soooo going to try getting the seeds from them too now! Thanks for all the seed saving vids. I actually feel like I'm going to get things right this year! :-)
Last fall I collected mystery-bags of leaves from neighbors, and one had a ton of tomato plant matter from the end of season, including some tomatoes. The whole thing got composted, and early spring, I found dry tomato skins, with the seeds inside, like little packages. Some of the compost tomato packets got sprinkled in the garden beds, and dozens of tomato plants sprang up!
What are we making? Cucumber wine? You rock.At the end of my last vid it shows my garden and chickens(of course the vid is about chemtrails). It is awesome. My mother in-law comes by to harvest cucmbers about every three days. And the corn is very sweet.Peppers and beans are going crazy too. I give you credit all the time.I'll say,"my utube lady said to do this,or this is what she said to do about that. And i did finally get some tobacco, but they're still babies. And i dont think they like the102temp
@Mr1PRINCESS I am so happy to hear your gardening adventure is turning out so well. How are your tomatoes? Th every hot temps shouldn't be that much of a problem w/ the tobacco. I am wondering if your soil may be too alkaline for them? They thrive in a moderately acidic soil. Thanks for the compliments & credit. Xo, A
I'm glad I ran across this video- I wanted to save seeds from the garden this year; I didn't know I had to do this.
So.... I do this for tomatoes, cucumbers. What about bell peppers and cantaloupes?

Thank you,
