  • sounds like a great cardio workout!! I will try it... we do the shuffle twist in taekwondo class but we call them salsa step and the kicking of course, doesn't look quite like that but it's a great workout.. 20 per exer. and 3 sets?

  • @naidikins of course....although I suggest a heart rate monitor (polar is a good brand) which measures exactly how many calories YOU burn...on average you can burn about 100 calories every 10-20 minutes of moderate to intense workload. Be well.  Alycia

    More explanation about the movs is good. While kicking having the standing leg positioned correct, so there is no torque on the knees (lot of martial artists destroy their meniscus, when not teached properly). Very good! Also never extend the kicking knee completly. Not good for the ligaments.

    Giving advise and explaining thorougly what we should do,what we shouldn't,what we should be careful of makes the training at home more safe for our joints and more efficient without being worried if we are doing more bad to ourselves than good...

    I vote for this type of video.

  • I actually do the mountain climbers the way you said not too and it's more of an explosive move. It's not bad it just takes more effort to do them that way. I personally think it's better for my high intensity training. But overall, great routine!

  • More explanation is very helpful, but I find that I do the workouts entirely and with more motivation when I can do the workout as you are doing it. (I'm watching this on my computer).
