I'm in no way a fan of Obama either. Like many, I had hope that he may actually be the beacon of peace which he promised, but that flicker of hope was extinguished when he defied the opinion of 70% of Americans and decided to deploy 30, 000 additional troops to Iraq, rather than ending the war. He is exactly what many feared, a brilliant public speaker but nothing more.
