yeah i agree. from a design standpoint, there is just too much going on. the lines are not clean at all. the interior is mediocre at best, compared to something like an audi. i would get a M3 or S5 over this any day.

i dont think so.merc and bmw are pioneers in technics, design and so on. audi makes still same design, only with different lights. they make good interiors, but its the only thing in which is audi unique. Otherwise its only luxury-like part of vw and vw ruins every attemt to make anything new. Just look how they ruined bentley-they make different versions of vw phaeton now.

Just like every other Mercedes Benz...Clean and fresh exterior; Super Boring interior, can't match it's German competitors in performance, and marketed to rich and ignorant demographics. Resale value is a positive, but owning a boring car that your neighbors wife also owns is not impressing, it's kinda silly.

Listen, Mercedes are timeless looking cars. They are memorable at any decade. I dont know about these new ones. Why did they stray away from tradition? Mercedes invented certain design ques and looks that other car companies totally copied. Mercedes doesn't even need to try so hard to be "trendy or youthful looking" or whatever. I'm disappointed and hope these look much much better in real life.

A Lexus has bad body proportions and doesn't look good. BMWs were never sports cars until they introduced their M Div. As far as I see it, M Division cars are overhyped. Look at how heavy the M6 is, how ugly the M5 is. Benz has more heritage, but all their AMG models are either too ugly or tear too much tyres.

no normally it doesn't replace the clk, this new E-coupé is based on the new E-class!

The old clk was based on the C-class, so I think in the future they might make a clk (a bit smaller ) and based on the C-class
