I was a djay....back then had all the break beats out there....GOT A ROCK...ROCK IT IN THE POCKIT!!!!....I use to battle dudes with this record....also the substitution beat that was so sick back then....I was a dee-jay since 78...I had a chance to rock on the n.y airways back when I was 12...THIS IS MEMORIES FOR ME....IM 40 NOW....so this was hip-hop for ME...

Yo, just found your page and i must say i'm feeling these old battle tapes, these were the days indeed, I had the Cold Crush vs Jazzy 5 battle. All the older brothers and cousins of friends would have these tapes and would dub them on the low just so i could have them, not for profit just for the love of the music, the breakbeats, the routines, etc..I was like 14 or 15!!!

Quite the shame, IMHO, since Kool Moe Dee actually managed to get me into hip hop and liking it (and I'm 15 years old, yet I enjoy guys like Rakim, KRS-One, Chuck D and old-school LL Cool J before anything we've got nowadays). Thank you once more for the love wishings.
