  • I'm elated that people are getting a chance to hear where all this came from.

  • This is a"classic." The T Connection was the mecca of hiphop.Shout out to my cousin,Dj Breakout.

  • I remember this!!!

Breakout = The Mighty Sasquatch sound system!

  • I remember this!!!

  • Remix original later sampled in 1984 by RUN-DMC in their song "Sucker MC"

  • they should give CC4 the copyright to "Got to rockit"....i never heard a crew rock a routine harder than the CC4 on this break!!!!

  • I was a djay....back then had all the break beats out there....GOT A ROCK...ROCK IT IN THE POCKIT!!!!....I use to battle dudes with this record....also the substitution beat that was so sick back then....I was a dee-jay since 78...I had a chance to rock on the n.y airways back when I was 12...THIS IS MEMORIES FOR ME....IM 40 NOW....so this was hip-hop for ME...

  • I feel ya man...These breaks bring back memories for me too.

  • History righ here..

  • to all those oldschool hip hop heads what was the owners name

  • Yo, just found your page and i must say i'm feeling these old battle tapes, these were the days indeed, I had the Cold Crush vs Jazzy 5 battle. All the older brothers and cousins of friends would have these tapes and would dub them on the low just so i could have them, not for profit just for the love of the music, the breakbeats, the routines, etc..I was like 14 or 15!!!

  • You are The Truest Youtube GURU, and im Giving you the title!

  • BLEW DA DUST OFF THIS ONE, HUH ????

  • i was there kid t-connection was the spot

  • Once again Good Lookin'(Thanks),Mad Props-Proper Due Respect to you for posting & sharing.I know many people may be Clueless?Don't have any idea How much this is HipHop Archive -Part of the Foundation of HIPHOP History,Peace,Soul,&Onelove,AB!1

  • No problem. Thanks a million for your kind wishes of respect. Unfortunately, there are many clueless people out there... while people are bumping Li'l Wayne and Soulja Boy (UGGGGHHHH) inside their Jeeps, guys like KMD, Melle Mel and Grandmaster Caz are left sitting inside crowded shelves to rot and gather dust.

  • Quite the shame, IMHO, since Kool Moe Dee actually managed to get me into hip hop and liking it (and I'm 15 years old, yet I enjoy guys like Rakim, KRS-One, Chuck D and old-school LL Cool J before anything we've got nowadays). Thank you once more for the love wishings.
