Screw all u ppl that don't even live in WI & yet comment on this situation as if u know what's goin on & GB is ur #2? Then ur NOT concerned about it as much apparently & don't kno shit about it. Brett Favre was a great asset to the team, yes but, he chose to retire, he has repeatly spoke of retiring & he signed the damn papers. He messed it up with the team & they had every right to treat him like they did. His attitude has been outrageous&childish, while Rodgers has been ignorin the BS. GO PACK
i'm a steeler fan too. and i love favre. they made a real big mistake. rodgers is replaceable. if he got pissed so what you draft another young guy. i just wish the jets were playing the packers this year. god dammit. FUCK TED THOMPSON.
I used to think of the Packers as my strong #2 behind my beloved Steelers but that organization is a Sham! The QB is the most important posttion in all of sports and you give away the all-time best QB who still can kick ass, all the while hoping Rogers can get it done?! Whew! Talk about an all-time blunder. I hope Brett makes 'em pay. Sorry Packers fans, but run that lousy GM out of town!
Brett favre actually retired, and then the packers signed aaron rodgers, so ofc after they already made plans they arent gonna sign him back.
And for all those ppl saying brett favre is gonna kick the packers ass and get back at them and blah blah blah, mabye if you would pay attention to what favre and the packers actually say, instead of some writer trying to start something out of nothing, you would know that brett has no hard feelings against the packers and he doesnt hate them at all.
if you payed attention to the packers youd know that aaron did'nt sign after brett retired he was on the team for 3 years behind brett you tool ......and would have been fine sitting another 2 years .....brett hates ted thompson if ya dont believe that ur crazy
Ya but they still had plans and they cant just go back and change everything once they already think brett is retired. Rodgers is a great qb also, brett is needed more on another team without a great qb like the vikings.
And after the vikings, packers game, in the inteview brett says he still loves the packers and everyone there, so stop listining to whatever phony newswriter is trying to stir up.
because when you played somewhere for 17 years and become the kind of hero brett was to the people of wisconsin it wouldnt be in your best interest to come out on national tv and say ted thompson is a dousche the packers suck and wisconsin people are cheese eating homo's .....most football stars will make alot of money after thay retire from they're organization ....if hes said that he wouldnt ever have that opertunity
@asdffd yes what a tragedy.Too bad the packers got a young great packer qb while the vikings have a 41 year old grandpa who couldnt play a game without getting hurt
@asdffd Favre treated the Packers like a semi-retirement hobby shop. Favre tried to dictate to TT what to do, and when he didn't, Favre "retired" to teach the Packers a lesson. He then wanted to come back as a Viking to stick it to Ted by "forcing their hand" and they dumped his ass off to the Jets. Favre simply didn't accomplish enough for the TEAM for his whole career because he didn't want to work to be elite (or he was too dumb to ever be elite). He was a very good QB for a long, long time.
Looks like Ari Fletcher is already at work... The Packers are whining about how Favre "broke their relationship" by going to the media with negative views on how he was treated/spoken to".
That is absolutely spin coming from the PR machine in the Packers organization. I just saw an idiot on the local newscast spout the same line... Unbelieveable how these fools fall for such simple spin tactics.
10 TD's 18 Interceptions - awesome job for the Vikings this year.

Brett is a class act. Too bad the people running the Packers aren't. Shame on them for the way they've treated Brett.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
1. Favre should not have announced his retirement if he was not serious. He is the John Kerry of the NFL.
2. He should have taken the $20 million the Packers offered him to not play.
3. Go away, Brett.
