You guys were on the GMA segment a lot this morning! I felt like such a loser because I told all my friends and family we would be on GMA and there was only a split second of our cake being cut and none of our faces. :( Your reactions were great though! Congrats on your girl :)

You know how its up to the fathers genes to determine the gender? Well my husband is 1 of 3 boys. His father is one of 5 boys. Father before him 1 of 3 boys. . . . If I have a girl I would cry with happiness, so would my mother in law :). However his dads first child was gonna be a girl, but they had a miscarriage.

I dont care what anybody says, not having a girl (for a mom) is so much different than not having a boy if you've already got girls. Sorry guys! The pressure NOT to be the crazy lady on the block with all the cats is more present when you have a house full of boys. Keeping it real.

I LOVED this! I had two boys and I REALLY wanted a baby girl. I went for an ultrasound and they told me it was another boy. It was hard to deal with the guilt of being disappointed. 6 weeks later, i went for another ultrasound and discovered that I was having a baby girl! I literally fell to my knees as we left the office. It was soooo weird yet so much fun to shop in the girl's section. You are going to have a blast with your little princess! Congrats!
