Believe I spent two years in this old bird, in 1968-69, while stationed at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine in San Antonio. We had two of these assigned to our unit.....63944 and 63948.....and were flying out of Kelly AFB. I think it was later sold to the Turkish Air Force after retirement. Would love to take another flight in it someday, although the cockpit is probably somewhat tighter than I remember. Thanks for posting.
Thats really sad that there are only 2 of these that can fly anymore

Here is the only civilian owned North American F-100 Super Sabre still flying. The F-100 was Americas first supersonic fighter.
